When SHERYL CROW forgot the words to "Soak Up the Sun" during a show last month, she joked, quote, "I'm 50 what can I say! My brain has gone to [crap]!"
But as it turns out, she has a much more serious excuse: A BRAIN TUMOR.
It's benign, and her doctors told her not to worry about it. That's because it's a "common" growth called a meningioma.
Her rep explains, quote, "Half of us are walking around with [meningioma] but you don't really know unless you happen to have an MRI . . . [this] was a random mention during an interview. It was not meant to alarm anyone. She's doing great."
Sheryl tells the "Las Vegas Review-Journal", quote, "I [was] worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor. And I was, like, 'See? I knew there was something wrong.'"
She knew about this BEFORE forgetting her lyrics last month. She was diagnosed back in November, but "hasn't really talked about it."
She says she's always had trouble remembering lyrics, dating back to the '90s.
Sheryl is also a breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed back in 2006 . . . and beat it after undergoing minimally invasive surgery and radiation therapy.

TRACE ADKINS is finding out that people are actually paying attention to his Twitter page. The other day he wrote that he visited the Walmart headquarters and "got some new Superman underwear".
Somebody called him on in it and asked him to "Prove it."
So, Trace's wife Rhonda accepted the challenge. She Tweeted a photo of said briefs, and added, quote, "Here they are."

The TAYLOR SWIFT exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville opens today. But on Monday, they did a sneak preview and, lucky for us, Country Music Is Love took a bunch of pictures and posted them online.
It's really interesting . . . if you like dresses and costumes and stuff like that.
