A North Carolina man tried to change his life by using a counterfeit one-million-dollar bill to buy about $400 in merchandise from his local Wal-Mart -- but ended up in jail when the cashier saw through the scam.
Michael Anthony Fuller made the bill himself, but didn't do enough research to find out that there's never been a million-dollar bill -- and that the largest note in circulation is the 100.
At the checkout, he insisted his money was good, and demanded the 999 grand in change, but only got a few ounces of silver slipped on his wrists -- in the form of a pair of handcuffs.
