"America's Oldest Teenager" has died at the age of 82. DICK CLARK known for "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" is also known for being the Producer for one of Country muisc's biggest nights-"THE ACADEMY of COUNTRY MUSIC Awards every year!
Country artists have taken to social media to express their thoughts & condolences on the passing of DICK CLARK. Including that of CURB RECORDS Chairman, MIKE CURB. MIKE CURB has launched many music careers including: LEE BRICE, TIM McGRAW, WYNONNA, LeANN RIMES--just to name a few. MIKE CURB-also a musician, wrote the opening theme to "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" that we heard every week. They were friends for over 50 years.
According to a spokesman, DICK CLARK died Wednesday, (4/18), after suffering a massive heart attack in a Santa Monica, California hospital after being treated for an outpatient procedure.
