While Keith was on 3 weeks of vocal rest after throat surgery, he has opened up about his recovery process. He says he was not allowed to utter a sound-you can't cry, you can't sneeze, you can't cough or clear your throat. "It was a strange 3 weeks, but, I had a dream one night-that I was singing".
Keith was terrified when he woke up the next morning and "wrote" a note to his doctor wanting to know if it was possible to "sing in your sleep" He said that in his dream his voice was way too high and sounded like Leo Sayer singing. His doctor assured him it was just a dream.
We are thrilled to hear he is doing so well & has scheduled his triumphant post-surgery return to the stage February 3rd at the Grand Ole Opry!
Keith & his wife, Nicole attended the Golden Globe Awards over the weekend.
