Lady A

'80s rocker Alan Parsons is apparently not happy about the similarities between Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" and The Alan Parsons Project's 1982 hit "Eye in the Sky." The Nashville Scene says someone purporting to be Parsons' assistant has written a letter to the editor saying that "hundreds" of fans have gotten in touch to call Lady A's hit a "lazy rip-off."
One intrepid YouTube poster has created a mash-up of the two songs. He says he had to change the tempo and key slightly, but there's no denying the similarities.

A sneak peek of Carrie Underwood's musical contribution to the new Chronicles of Narnia movie has been posted to YouTube. The video shows the song, co-written by Carrie, paired with scenes from the movie, which opens in theaters December 10th.
