Additional details have become available regarding Rodney Atkins' divorce from wife Tammy Jo.
Legal documents obtained by TMZ show that Rodney filed for divorce on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.
In Tammy Jo's counter-complaint, she charges Rodney with inappropriate marital conduct and says that living together is no longer safe or proper.
She also asks for custody of their son, Elijah, alimony, child support and reimbursement of legal fees.
Rodney has denied inappropriate marital conduct and is seeking joint custody of their son.
Each has also filed a restraining order against the other.
