A 9th grade student in Oklahoma has landed in some hot water for get this….Snapping a picture of a male substitute teacher napping DURING class. When the student snapped the picture of the wanna be Rip Van Winkle and posted it online, school officials saw the picture and immediately pulled the boy out of class and suspended him for “using a telecommunications device” during the school day – a violation of district rules. (Evidently a sleeping teacher fits right in with the rules for the district.)
Parents are fuming over the suspension , saying, “They probably took it to an extreme because they caught a teacher doing something they weren’t supposed to be doing”.
