CHRISTINA AGUILERA could be the next pop star to team up with a country artist. Christina Tweeted yesterday to her fellow Voice mentor BLAKE SHELTON, "Now we need to team up for a country duet, Blake! I'm down! Let's go!"
If it works out, it won't be the fist time Christina teams up with a fellow coach. Last year, her duet with ADAM LEVINE, "Moves Like Jagger," became a smash after they debuted it on the show.
TAYLOR SWIFT isn't the only country artist who can bring out Hollywood big shots. Several showed up at DIERKS BENTLEY'S Nokia Theatre concert last Friday in Los Angeles. Some of these names you may not recognize, but . . . they’re kind of a big deal.
FOO FIGHTERS' lead guitarist CHRIS SHIFLETT hit the stage to perform two songs with Dierks. They did the Foo Fighters' song "Big Me" . . . and a cover of the FLYING BURRITO BROTHERS' classic "Sin City".
The show's encore feature actor GARRETT HEDLUND. You know Garrett as Don in the movie "Friday Night Lights", and Beau in "Country Strong".
Several more L.A. types hit up the after party. There was KIRSTEN DUNST . . . plus actor ERIC STONESTREET, who plays Cameron Tucker on "Modern Family".
And the band FOSTER THE PEOPLE was there. You've heard their overplayed song "Pumped Up Kicks".
Somebody broke into an equipment trailer and ripped off a bunch of TRACY LAWRENCE'S music gear. Tracy's on tour and it happened around 4:00 A.M. Monday morning in Bakersfield, California.
Word got out fast and several local music companies came through with replacement stuff for the band to use. Tracy's show in Bakersfield is scheduled for tomorrow night.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD is doing one of those "Live on Letterman" webcast performances. It's going down April 30th at 8:00 P.M. And she'll be a guest on "Letterman" later that night.

GEORGE JONES is postponing two shows this weekend because of illness. They are his show this Friday in Mahnomen, Minnesota, and his Saturday show in Deadwood, South Dakota.
George wrote on his website, quote, "I never want to cancel a show, but I have to do what the doctors tell me. I thank all the fans from the bottom of my heart for their prayers and I look forward to seeing them on the road soon." (GeorgeJones.com)
