A South Carolina man's future is in hock because he made the decision to hock a loogey at a police officer -- a crime that netted him a 10-year jail sentence.
The cop came to Bobby Mathis' home after a report of a domestic disturbance last year. When the officer tried to question him, Mathis became belligerent and let his liquid missile fly -- nailing the deputy in the face. In South Carolina, that counts as a felony known as "transferring bodily fluids."
Mathis had racked up previous convictions for disorderly conduct and inhaling hydrocarbons.
