Taylor Swift and Shania Twain star in a take-off of the movie Thelma and Louise in a video that will open tomorrow's CMT Music Awards. The 1991 movie is about a housewife and a waitress who embark on an epic road trip. The clip will also feature Glee's Chord Overstreet.
The CMT Music Awards airs on the music channel at 8 p.m. ET.
Lady Antebellum will release their third album, Own the Night, on September 13th. After winning five Grammys earlier this year, they immediately got to work. Dave Haywood says, "We packed up and flew home from L.A., cleared our calendar of everything and went into rehearsal with the musicians."
Sugarland has been making a statement during their live performance of "Stand Up." As Kristian sings the opening refrains of the song, Jennifer paints "love" on a white flag that is then handed off to a child to parade through the arena. She explains that there is part of the song that is a "call to revolution" and that love can also be revolutionary. Check it out in behind-the-scenes footage below.
