--Billy Mac: Today's TTLD - Urban's Undies/Sexiest Country Stars & More

031 500x605 Faith Hill…UH YUMP!!!    Reba Mcentire

AOL put together a list of the 11 Sexiest Country Stars Over 40. Why 11? Who knows? I think it's flawed because they went heavy on artists in their 40s. Only two people past 50 made the cut. Anyway, here they are, in no particular order:

--Faith Hill, 44

--Martina McBride, 45

--Tim McGraw, 45

--Sarah Evans, 41

--Keith Urban, 44

--Reba McEntire, 57

--Chely Wright, 41

--George Strait, 60

--Rhonda Vincent, 49

--Lee Ann Womack, 45

--Trace Adkins, 50

There's also a slide show with a photo of each star. To start it up, click on the photo of Faith Hill, here.

KEITH URBAN wears white Calvin Klein underwear. At least he did on a recent episode of "The Voice:  Australia" . . . when a photo of his Calvins peeking out from his blue jeans went viral.

What happened next is either amusing . . . or a little creepy. Somebody with too much time on their hands created a Twitter account dedicated to Keith's underwear-flash. We laugh, but there are followers.

Check it out for yourself @KeithsUndies . . . "Coming to a TV near you baby."

But that's not the only Twitter account dedicated to what Keith has below the belt. There's also one dedicated to his tight little butt.

That one is @KeithsBum . . . "Enjoys comfort, style & support. SubUrban Region."

TIM McGRAW can't wait for his fans to hear new music from his upcoming album and promises they'll hear plenty of it on the Brothers of the Sun tour.

He says, "That's one of the highlights of me doing any tour is going out and doing new music and I look forward to that every single night."

Brothers of the Sun with Tim, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals kicks off on Saturday in Tampa.

Thursday's DA Of The Day

It's a fine line between insanity and genius. This guy might be a genius.

On Tuesday, around 6:15 P.M., police in Indianapolisgot a call that 19-year-old Leonard Fodera was walking down the street TOTALLY NUDE. And when the cops stopped him, he gave his genius excuse.

He told them he was naked because, quote, "it's opposite day."

For reference, it was NOT actually opposite day.

As good of an excuse as that was, one of the cops had an equally strong response.

Officer Michael O'Connor told Leonard, quote, "Fine, in that case, you are NOT going to jail for public indecency."

Leonard was arrested.

--Billy Mac: Twang Town Lowdown - LeAnn/Keith Urban/Taylor and More!

Like many of us on Memorial Day, LEANN RIMES had to make a last minute run to the store for party provisions. And because she's the new, sexed-up LeAnn Rimes, she was wearing a pair of short-shorts and a bikini top.

Normally, that would be the end of the story . . . except LeAnn got caught in a little lie. Back in February, she was whining to CHELSEA HANDLER that people were giving her a hard time for showing up everywhere in a bikini.

She even had her excuse. She said quote, "I am on the [bleeping] beach, for God's sake.

"I'm not like going shopping at the grocery store in a bikini. I'm on the beach and there happen to be photographers who follow us everywhere. It's quite annoying." (Daily Mail)

KEITH URBAN made the 35-hour trip from Australia, where he's a coach on The Voice, to Cannes, France to be with his wife Nicole Kidman on the red carpet at the film festival.

Nicole says, "As long as he's there, he's my rock, everything's fine. I feel a little out to sea if he's not there."

Nicole was in Cannes to promote two films: The Paperboy and HBO's, Hemingway and Gellhorn.

There's a huge TAYLOR SWIFT exhibit opening at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.  It's called "Taylor Swift: Speak Now -- Treasures From the World Tour" . . . and it's packed with costumes and tons of artifacts from her "Speak Now" tour.

The exhibit opens June 6th and runs through November 4th. You can grab more details at CountryMusicHallofFame.org.

KENNY CHESNEY, BRAD PAISLEY, LUKE BRYAN, SARA EVANS, HUNTER HAYES, and ZZ TOP’s Billy Gibbons will all be joining JOE WALSH for his edition of "CMT Crossroads: Joe Walsh & Friends". It premieres June 23rd. (Full Story

--Billy Mac: Wednesday's DA Of The Day

Photos are free. You can take thousands of them without having to pay for film, or processing, or anything else we used to do back in the Dark Ages of the 1990s. So if you try to take a photo and it gets messed up, just take another one.

That wasn't good enough for 29-year-old Brian Terrell Strayhorne of Rocky MountNorth Carolina.

Around 3:15 A.M. on Sunday, Brian was taking a photo at a family resort called Captains Quarters in Myrtle BeachSouth Carolina . . . when a 26-year-old man and his brother accidentally walked through the shot.

And Brian FLIPPED OUT. He confronted them . . . and ended up STABBING the 26-year-old.

The man was hospitalized. Brian was arrested for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

--BIlly Mac: First Kenny Drunk Dials Lionel.. Now THIS!!

It sounds like if you have trouble sleeping AND have a song Kenny Chesney likes to perform on stage, you should probably refrain from giving him your phone number.

Kenny recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly {Quote via Contact Music} and admitted that he loves to perform Tim McGraw's 1999 hit For a Little While in concert.  Well that sounds like great news until you hear the rest of his confession.

He tells the magazine, "There were many nights where I called him at two in the morning and woke the household up, and I would let the crowd sing it to him."

Yeah, you probably have to be a pretty good friend to get away with that more than once.

Tim and Kenny officially hit the road on their massive Brothers of the Suntour Saturday, June 2, with their first stop in Tampa, Florida.  Find all tour dates here.

-Billy Mac : Here's Today's DA Of The Day

People generally think pretty highly of brain surgeons and their intelligence. Like, if you want to say something's easy, you say "It doesn't take a brain surgeon" to do it. But this guy might singlehandedly ruin that reputation.

Dr. Steve Carr is a brain surgeon in Denver, Colorado. Last month, he and his girlfriend Mary were on vacation in NaplesFlorida . . . and he wanted to propose to her.

So he decided to BURY the engagement ring in the sand, take Mary to the beach, dig up the ring, and propose. But when they got to the beach . . . he couldn't remember where he'd buried the ring.

We're not sure if he didn't mark the spot or what, but when he couldn't find the ring, he started digging. So he told Mary what happened, and SHE started digging. Then OTHER people on the beach started digging. But no one could find the ring.

After two hours, they went online to find a local 'ring finder'. Yes, there's actually a nationwide 'Ring Finder' network that handles this kind of thing.

A guy named Larry Spearing showed up with a metal detector, and was able to find the ring. There's no word on what he charged. Steve proposed to Mary, and for some reason she still said yes.

--Billy Mac: Randy Travis Suing, Blake is calling Turkey's and more in the Twang

Country legend Randy Travis says his ex-wife is a scam-artist who came up with a diabolical plot to ruin his career and cheat him out of his hard-earned cash ... this according to new legal docs.

The singer has filed a lawsuit against Elizabeth Travis -- his ex-wife and manager of 30 years -- claiming she breached her contract by running around town blabbing personal details about him in order to torpedo his career.   Randy wasn't specific about the "personal details," but it sounds pretty bad.

And that's just the beginning ...Travis claims Elizabeth tried to con even more money out of him with inflated travel reimbursement requests.

The new suit comes on the heels of Elizabeth filing her own lawsuit ... claiming it was Randy who breached their contract when he canned her in 2011.  She wants her full management fee.

Randy is asking the judge to block his ex from getting a cut from his future gigs.

A judge has yet to rule.

BLAKE SHELTON takes care of his "Team Blake" contestants from "The Voice". After the first season he brought DIA FRAMPTON and XENIA on the road with him. This time around he's actually letting RAELYNN live in his Hollywood home.

MIRANDA LAMBERT said, quote, "We kind of adopted [RaeLynn]. She's been staying with us at our house in L.A., and we've already written a song and started another one."  Miranda has also added another "family member" to the Shelton clan.. Meet Emmy Lou... Miranda tweeted this pic and said "I know I need to stop, but she was in a ditch"

Also BLAKE SHELTON is passing along his new and "unique" way of calling turkey's it's called the what-what method... Here's a video of Blake demonstrating his technique.

ZAC BROWN has a house full of kids, and he's okay with that. But he's also been thinking it may be time to ease off the pedal, if you know what I mean.

He says, quote, "We've had four girls in five years. I know how to make girls. I figured that out. I love them and I wouldn't trade the world for them. But I think we're going to enjoy the ones we have for now.

"It's like herding cats at home. They're always running in every direction."

Do you care that BILLY RAY CYRUS is a distant relative of BRITNEY SPEARS?  Well . . . he is. And now you know. NashvilleGab.com did all the research.

The site also found out that Taylor Swift has a heckuva lot of country cousins including Reba, Garth, Loretta Lynn, and Willie Nelson.

Now that DAVE HAYWOOD of LADY ANTEBELLUM is a married man, he's trading his bachelor pad condo for something a little homier.

He and his wife Kelli have bought a Tudor-style home in the tony Belle Meade section of Nashville for more than $2 million. The digs boast almost 7000 square feet, four bedrooms, and six full and two half-bathrooms.

See more pictures by clicking HERE.

Something very good happened over the weekend. GEORGE JONES was released from the hospital . . . thanks to his wife and a brand new team of doctors.

He said, “I can’t thank my friends and fans enough for all their support. Nancy has got me a new team of doctors to help me get through this, and it seems to be working. I look forward to seeing everyone soon.”

--BIlly Mac: Twang Town Lowdown - MEMORIAL DAY EDITION

Memorial Day may mean a long weekend for some, but most country stars are on the road . . . some are taking part in special holiday salutes to the military.

An outspoken supporter of the U.S. military, TRACE ADKINS is in New York City for Fleet Week welcoming military personnel to the city. On Sunday, he performed at the annual Memorial Day Concert which aired live from the West Lawn of the Capitol.

Lee Greenwood performed his iconic hit, "God Bless the U.S.A." on Fox and Friends' Memorial Day show.

Dierks Bentley couldn't be more proud of his father, who served in World War Two. He says his dad doesn't talk about his service much, but that he did enjoy his time overseas.

Eric Church is one proud American and he says Memorial Day is a time to celebrate not only being American, but those who fight for our freedom.

TIM MCGRAW is working with the Wounded Warrior Project to give away 25 mortgage-free homes to wounded American soldiers and service members in need.

They'll be giving a home to one family in 25 different cities on Tim's "Brothers of the Sun" tour with KENNY CHESNEY.

Tim is officially kicking off the project tonight with a special concert in New York City for military personnel who are in town for the annual Fleet Week celebration.

Tonight's  concert will air on the YouTube livestream channel, here. You have to sign up. It's also going to be available on the official Pentagon channel.

Here's Tim's statement: Quote, "My sister's a veteran of the first Gulf War. My uncle was a Vietnam veteran and my grandfather was a World War II veteran. I've always felt a deep sense of respect and obligation to our troops.

"Being able to reward them for their dedicated work with a new home will be even more rewarding for us. It feels so good to give back to them, and to have the opportunity to entertain them on Memorial Day is something I'm honored to do."

ANGALEENA PRESLEY, the brunette in the PISTOL ANNIES got married on Tuesday. The lucky dude is Jordan Powell, who is MIRANDA LAMBERT'S road manager. It's Angaleena's second marriage . . . and she has one son, Jed.

Here's a wedding photo posted on the band's Facebook page. There's also a great interview with the Pistol Annies in "USA Weekend". You can check that out here.

 LUKE BRYAN
will be performing ontonight's edition of "The Bachelorette". He'll be working his magic with two songs . . . "Drunk On You" and "Do I". (LukeBryan.com)

ERIC CHURCH has not given up his fight against scummy ticket brokers.

Eric has been working with Nashville's WTVF-TV to show how the cards are stacked against regular people getting decent concert seats at a fair price. (Full Story)

The video for LITTLE BIG TOWN’S new hit single, "Pontoon," makes its debut today (Friday) on People.com. The band had a big time at the shoot, with the fellas playing golf and grilling, while the ladies enjoyed some cocktails and lounge chairs.

Karen says, "That's more like mama's speed right here . . . Floating."

"Pontoon" is available on iTunes right now.

-Billy Mac: Here's Your Memorial Day DA Of The Day

On Tuesday afternoon, a man in AthensGeorgia was furious. He'd lent a 74-year-old guy $5, and the guy hadn't paid him back.

So he grabbed his GUN . . . grabbed his small dog Benji . . . got in his WHEELCHAIR . . . and rolled over to a nearby TRAILER PARK to confront the guy about the loan.

When he got there, he found the man sitting NAKED in his trailer. The two guys got into a shouting match. You know . . . just your classic "guy with a small dog in a wheelchair" versus "naked 74-year-old at the trailer park" matchup.

Eventually the man in the wheelchair threatened to SHOOT the 74-year-old over the five bucks, so the 74-year-old called 911. The cops got there just as the men were throwing their canes at each other.

No one was hurt and no arrests were made.

Tim McGraw is teaming up with an organization called HomeFront in partnership with Chase and Operation Homefront to award mortgage-free homes to wounded warriors and service members in need at each stop on the Brothers of the Sun Tour this summer.  Tim will perform a special Memorial Day concert of remembrance and gratitude for service members at New York City’s Beacon Theatre during Fleet Week in partnership with Chase and the USO. The show will be streamed live via YouTube and to military bases around the world on The Pentagon Channel

Tim has many veterans in his family – his sister is a veteran of the first Gulf War, his uncle was in Vietnam and his grandfather fought in World War II – so he says, “I’ve always felt a deep sense of respect and obligation to our troops.  Being able to reward them for their dedicated work with a new home will be even more rewarding for us. A Florida man may soon be doing time for stealing time -- by swiping a clock off the wall of a police station where he was being questioned about another theft.

Cops spotted Michael Marquez and another homeless man arguing over the contents of a shopping cart filled with sporting goods -- all of which turned out to be stolen. They were both hauled in for questioning in separate rooms, and when Marquez's interrogator stepped away, the 34-year-old snatched a wall clock and stuffed it into his backpack -- forgetting that police stations often have surveillance cameras.

He now faces charges of petty theft in addition to the possession of stolen property allegation.

--Billy Mac: Kenny's Theory, Taylor & Kellie are HOT, and a Dolly song is honore

KENNY CHESNEY is rich and famous and all that . . . but like every person on the planet, he gets "punched in the gut" by life once in a while. And when that does happen, Kenny remembers his "Red Sock Theory". I'll let him explain.

He says, quote, "Imagine a dryer full of white socks . . . but there's one red one. The white socks are all the great things in life that come with what I do. The red one is the few things that make it uncomfortable and the things we go through to do what we do.

"But you don't see that red sock every time. You might not see it for two minutes. It'll show up every now and then, and that's the way my life is. If you look at it as a whole dryer full of red socks then it's gonna consume you. And I used to look at it that way.

"But now I try to look at it as a bunch of white socks that represent a lot of great things and I've been very fortunate and that red sock shows up every now and then and punches me in the gut or disappoints me, whatever.

"But I try not to let that red sock affect me that much."

By the way, we know Kenny and TIM MCGRAW'S "Brothers of the Sun" tour is going to be massive, but it's still impressive to hear some details. For example, they'll cover close to 20,000 miles in 20 buses, and more than 80 tractor trailers.

There are 283 member crew members and they'll all be fed by a traveling catering staff that will serve up three hot meals a day. There's tons more. Check out the details at KennyChesney.com.

Maxim magazine has put TAYLOR SWIFT and KELLIE PICKLER on its list of the world's Hot 100 Women. Taylor comes in at number-26 and Kellie lands at number-72.

Other notable hotties on the list include Zooey Deschanel, Julianne Hough, Miley Cyrus, royal sister Pippa Middleton and Family Guy's Lois Griffin.

DOLLY PARTON'S 1971 classic "Coat of Many Colors" has been added to the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress. Every year they select 25 recordings that are "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" to preserve for posterity.

You can read why they chose her song at the Library of Congress website. Dolly's is #20.

--Billy Mac: Thursday's DA Of The Day

Earlier this week, a woman named Cameron Holcomb in LexingtonTennessee came home and found someone had broken into her house. But whoever it was had a STRANGE priority list for the burglary.

A whole bunch of little things were missing, including ALL of Cameron's bras and underwear, a coloring book, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, a frog-shaped shower mat, and boxes of tampons.

The burglar DIDN'T take Cameron's LAPTOP, or any of her expensive jewelry.

Cameron immediately suspected her neighbor, whose actual name is Stormy Winters-Moody. When the cops went to Stormy's house, she was wearing Cameron's shirt and shorts. No word on the underwear.

Stormy was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary, and theft over $1,000. Cameron is still going through her house trying to figure out what's missing.

KELLY CLARKSON has a boyfriend. His name is Brandon Blackstock, and he's the son of Kelly's manager Narvel Blackstock. Narvel is REBA MCENTIRE'S husband, by the way.

They've been dating since late last year, and Kelly is so happy that it's messing with her songwriting mojo.

She says, quote, "It's killing me. I'm trying to write a tough song and it's coming out like butterflies and rainbows. It's ruining my creativity. I'm writing all this happy [stuff]."

But she adds, quote, "I love it. It's an awesome problem to have."

Miranda lambert     Miranda Lambert

The June issue of "W" magazine has some saucy photos of MIRANDA LAMBERT. They're kind of a throwback to the '60s.

There's also an interview that focuses on Miranda's best trait . . . yes, her take no crap personality. She says, quote, "The tough-girl thing comes naturally to me.

"When I started out, I'd only wear jeans and tank tops. No dresses. I didn't want these dudes in the bars that I was playing to look me up and down because I'm a blonde girl with blue eyes. I wanted to be heard, not seen. That's how it all started."

Miranda still owns the Oklahoma farm she bought while dating BLAKE SHELTON, so they asked her if she's planning to get rid of it.

She said, quote, "Hell no. We mostly live at Blake's, but, if you're [ticked off], 10 miles away is far enough.

"If we have a fight, I can say, 'Go home' or 'I'm going home.'"

Apparently, JASON ALDEAN has been getting some nasty comments on his Twitter page. At least enough to make him angry enough to call out . . . somebody.

Here's what he Tweeted, quote, "To all you haters. If you don't like what I do or think I'm 'ruining' country music, feel free to unfollow me.  Nobody is forcing you to listen!"

TIM McGRAW hopes to work on a project with FAITH HILL soon, but they're too busy to make it happen. He says, "We have three daughters that dictate our timeline to work together."

Tim kicks off the Brothers of the Sun tour with KENNY CHESNEY on June 2nd in Tampa.

At each of their stops on the Changed tour, RASCAL FLATTS will be giving five lucky fans and their guests the royal treatment. In addition to their own private meet-and-greet with the guys, they'll get their own dressing room, have dinner backstage and receive a gift pack.

Two fans will win a trip to the CMA Awards in Nashville. Enter by visiting RascalFlatts.com. The tour kicks off June 15th in HartfordConnecticut.

--Billy Mac: The DA Of The Day... You Got a Zebra...In A Bar..

On Sunday night, 55-year-old Jerald Reiter of Cascade, Iowa decided to do something perfectly normal.

He loaded his PET ZEBRA and PET PARROT into the FRONT SEAT of his truck, and took them to a bar so the three of them could get drunk.

There was only one problem. For some idiotic reason, the bar told Jerald he couldn't bring his zebra inside. So Jerald left the animals in the car and got drunk alone.

After he was done, he went outside, and a group of people had gathered around his truck to take photos of the zebra and the parrot.

Jerald thinks one of them must have ratted him out to the cops . . . because as soon as he got behind the wheel, they pulled him over for drunk driving.

He told the cops that he and his girlfriend treat the zebra and parrot like their CHILDREN, and he took them to the bar because he really wanted to hang out with them. He's facing drunk driving charges.

Here's Jerald's mugshot. He looks like a guy who'd take a zebra drinking.....or wear it's head as a hat.

--Billy Mac: First A Dad Put A Bullet Thru a Laptop, now THIS!

I'm guessing this 12-year-old girl in HoustonTexas won't be posting stupid photos anymore.

Last week, ReShonda Tate Billingsley caught her 12-year-old daughter posting a photo on Instagram where she was holding a bottle of VODKA. The caption said, quote, "I sure wish I could drink this."

So ReShonda came up with a BRILLIANT punishment that she KNEW would stick.

She made her daughter take a photo holding a sign, and posted THAT to Instagram.

The sign says, quote, "Since I want to post photos of me holding liquor, I am obviously not ready for social media and will be taking a hiatus until I learn what I should and should not post.  Bye-bye."

The daughter doesn't have a Facebook page yet, so ReShonda made it HER Facebook profile photo. And she says her daughter was so "devastated" that, quote, "she actually asked for a spanking instead. She begged for a spanking."

We checked out KENNY CHESNEY'S interview in the June issue of "Men's Health" . . . hoping he'd say something stupid that we could make fun of. You know, like he eats banana tofu or sleeps hanging upside down. No such luck.

But he did open up a little bit about what kind of chemicals he does and does not put into his body. He said, quote, "I've never abused my body with drugs. I've never smoked.

"But I will say that I that I've probably been over-served a lot. You can't spend 19 years on the road and not have a few drinks."

This could be interesting . . . or maybe odd.  TOBY KEITH will be co-hosting this year's "CMT Music Awards" with actress KRISTEN BELL. The show airs June 6th.

By the way, this isn't Toby's first time co-hosting that show. He and PAMELA ANDERSON did the honors back in 2003.

LUKE BRYAN is tired of people pretending to be him on Facebook. So, he went on Facebook to let everyone know about it.

Here's what he wrote, quote, "Hey y'all, please share this! I just want to let everybody in on something. There have been a lot of issues with fake Facebook profiles of me. This is the only profile I use for correspondence.

"I don't have a personal page. If you are friends with another Luke Bryan, unfriend them and don't believe any of the messages.

"Also, people are impersonating my wife, of all people. She does NOT use Facebook. Unfriend anyone pretending to be her.

"I'm sorry for such a long post, but I want all of you, my fans, to be aware of what's going on."

JENNIFER NETTLES' debut as a mentor and singing partner on "Duets" is this Thursday. So naturally, it's important she compare and contrast her dues-paying days to those of today's music competition performers.

She says, quote, "When I came through the system, it was very much the dues pay. I ran up the roads in a 15-passenger van with five smelly guys, and schlepped my own gear, and played smoky bars before smoking bans and laws were around.

"And I was really able to cut my teeth on the stage in that way, and considered it the best way.

"But, what I have seen over the years is, there is wonderful talent like KELLY CLARKSON and CARRIE UNDERWOOD, and like any in-route into the industry, the cream will rise to the top.

"Those who have what it takes will make it, and those who don't, won't.".....

--Billy Mac: Tuesday's DA Of The Day

Parenting sure is tough. There's the constant diaper-changing, the endless tantrums; the sleepless nights. And on top of all that, you have to rescue your kid from a washing machine after your stupid brain told you to put him in it. A couple brought their young kid to a laundromat and, for some unknown reason, decided to put him in the washing machine. They of course then freaked out when they couldn't open the door and the wash cycle started. But after spinning for over a minute and suffering only minor bumps and bruises, he was pulled out of the machine. A word of advice to parents; if your child's clothes say they're machine washable, it's best to take them off your child first.

--Billy Mac: The Boys In The Band & Will Smith Lays Some Smack Down
So if you ever wonder what the boys in Luke Bryan's band do while Luke is off selling records and talking to the press, this weeks of LBTV gives you all the details....

Will Smith lays the smack down on overly affectionate reporter:

Will Smith might support gay marriage, but man-on-man kissing? Not so much.
Will shoved and then slapped a Ukranian reporter Friday after the man planted a kiss near his lips at the Men in Black 3 premiere in Moscow. As he continued down the red carpet, Will said, "Sorry. He kissed me on my mouth.

The joker is lucky I didn't sucker punch him." The reporter is well known for kissing celebrities.
This comes just days after Will agreed with President Obama's support of gay marriage. "If anybody can find someone to love them and to help them through this difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form," he told reporters in Berlin last Monday.

--Billy Mac: Loretta, Taylor, Dierks & More In Today's Twang Town Lowdown

The Associated Press decided to "dig deep" and prove that LORETTA LYNN really was born in 1932. It's because they were researching Loretta's birthday and found conflicting dates. Some said 1932 . . . others listed it as 1935.

Here's why any of this even matters. One of the key moments in the "Coal Miner's Daughter" book and movie is when Loretta got married at the age of 13. But AP found the actual marriage certificate and it says she was 15.

So if the certificate is correct and she got married at 15, then she would have been born in 1932. Which means Loretta either lied in the book, or couldn't remember.

Here's how Loretta vaguely addressed the age thing in the "Coal Miner's Daughter" book. She wrote, quote, "When I was born, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the president for several years.

"That's the closest I'm gonna come to telling my age in this book, so don't go looking for it. I'm trying to make a living singing songs. I don't need nobody out there saying, 'She don't look bad considering she's such-and-such years old.'"

Actually, FDR was president from 1933 until his death in 1945 . . . so Loretta was actually born a year BEFORE he took office.

The AP contacted several of Loretta's people and nobody wanted to get involved.

Her spokeswoman did say that Loretta once told her, quote, "If anyone asks how old I am, tell them it's none of their business!"

In case you didn't hear, TAYLOR SWIFT is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Not only is it a lot of money . . . but it's also the LARGEST gift ever given to the museum by an artist. It's also the second largest from an individual. (Full Story)

DIERKS BENTLEY is in the middle of his Country & Cold Cans Tour, and apparently, sucking down cold brew is a common activity.

Dierks tweeted a photo of him shot-gunning beers with his opening acts, ELI YOUNG BAND and CADILLAC BLACK. And of course don't forget to get YOUR tickets to his July 14th show at the Corn Crib with Josh Thompson and Jon Pardi.. They are on-sale now at the Corn Crib box office or by clicking  HERE

KENNY CHESNEY has released the second single from his upcoming Welcome to the Fishbowl album, "Come Over."

He says the song is about two people who have ended their relationship, but "aren't really ready to emotionally or physically move on to something else. So . . . they keep going back to each other because it's familiar."

Kenny and TIM McGRAW are in rehearsals for their Brothers of the Sun tour, which kicks off June 2nd in TampaFlorida.

MIRANDA LAMBERT has found a good road dog with the newest four-legged addition to her family.

She tweets a photo and says, "Loretta isn't comfortable on the bus."

--Billy Mac: Your Monday Morning DA Of The Day!!

Before we get into this, it's important to note that a Chevy van is about six-and-a-half feet tall. Picture one of those vans that kidnappers always drive in movies. THAT'S the type of Chevrolet van we're talking about here.

On May 14th, a 78-year-old woman in DaculaGeorgia, called the police to report that her late husband's 1973 Chevy van had been STOLEN from her front yard.

The woman told the cops that the van was inoperative . . . and she was positive the doors had been locked . . . yet it had just disappeared.

Later that day, she called the police back to tell them she'd FOUND the van. And I hope she was at least a LITTLE embarrassed over what happened.

It turns out the woman wasn't much for landscaping . . . and her tall grass and weeds had grown SO HIGH they'd COMPLETLEY covered up the van. The van that's about six-and-a-half feet tall.

-Billy Mac: Kenny is Men's Health Coverboy & I will NEVER complain about my com

Kenny is the Men's Health Coverboy for June:

Kenny Chesney is serious about staying in shape, especially when he’s about to embark on a tour like the Brothers of the Sun Tour this summer, and all that hard work and discipline has been noticed by Men’s Health, which chose Kenny as the cover guy for their June issue, marking his first major men’s magazine cover, according to USA Today.  Kenny tells the magazine his workouts aren’t about trying to bulk up, they’re about building up his stamina to be able to play two hours a night in the summer heat.  “You think you’re sprinting on this treadmill.  When I’m up there it’s like I’m at a constant sprint at a 15 level,” he says.  “But the thing you have onstage that you don’t have in the gym is adrenaline.”

Kenny has had the same personal trainer, Daniel Meng, for over 10 years, and according to Daniel, he puts Kenny through the ringer when they’re training for a tour.  “It’s a very intense workout routine usually reserved for athletes, but Kenny has a certain standard he holds himself to when putting on a show, and it’s my job to get him there.”

Besides working out Kenny is very strict about his diet.  Even when he finds himself at a Waffle House, he’s been known to order sliced tomatoes and egg whites.  “Growing up in East Tennessee, everything you do revolves around food,” he tells Men’s Health.  And he also admits that although he’s cut a lot of things out of his diet, he does enjoy some adult beverages.  “I’ve probably been over-served a lot. You can’t spend 19 years on the road and not have a few drinks.”  But when he’s in training, the alcohol goes to, which is what makes a few cold beers after the tour that much sweeter...

So You Hate The Redlights on Veterans for Your Morning Commute???

If you think YOUR commute sucks, check out this list from "Reader's Digest" of the worst commutes in the WORLD.

You've probably heard how crammed-in they are in Beijing: Last August, a traffic jam stretched for 60 miles and lasted NINE DAYS. So Beijing definitely makes the list. Here are four more.

#1) The Tokyo Rail System. It gets so packed, you just stand there and can't move at all. So they actually have "train pushers" who wear white gloves and literally pack people into the train so the doors can close. The system gets around 8.7 million passengers a day, and regularly runs at 200% capacity. Plus, you have to deal with the, quote, "chikan," which loosely translates to "train gropers."

#2) The Los Pinos Zipline. The village of Los Pinos is in the middle of the Colombian jungle, and to get to school, kids either have to walk around a 1,200-foot gorge, or use a 1,300-foot zip line to go OVER it.

They use a piece of wood as a brake, so they don't slam into the tires on the other side at 40 miles an hour. (Check out a video of people using it.)

#3) The Hussaini Bridge in Pakistan. It's made of rope and wood, it's 635 feet long, and it's completely falling apart. (Check it out here. It looks kinda like the bridge Indiana Jones has to cross in "Temple of Doom" . . . but worse.)

People use it to transport crops, firewood, and livestock. It's not very high, but it crosses a huge river. And if you fall in, you can easily get swept away and drown.

#4) Yungus Road in Bolivia. It's 38-miles long, and most of it is only wide enough for one car . . . but it's not one-way. And if you drive off the side, you fall 3,000 feet.

Hundreds of people have died on it, so it's also known as "El Camino de la Muerte," which means "The Road of Death"

R.I.P Donna Summer (1948-2012)

Several country artists decided to make their feelings known about the passing of DONNA SUMMER.

Most of them reached out on Twitter, but DOLLY PARTON, who was pretty tight with Donna, released a formal statement. Here it is:

Quote, "I can't believe we've lost another wonderful singer. Donna, like WHITNEY, had one of the greatest voices ever. I loved her records.

"She was the disco queen, and will remain so.  I knew her and found her to be one of the most likable and fun people ever. She will be missed and remembered."

Donna Summer and her husband wrote the song "Starting Over Again", which was a Number One country hit for Dolly back in 1980. REBA MCENTIRE also did a version. It peaked at #19 in 1996.

Here are a few reactions from some other country stars . . .

--Sara Evans: "I absolutely love her music! Had her albums as a child and memorized them! She'll be missed!"

--LeAnn Rimes: "Donna Summer . . . RIP. Saddened she's gone so soon."

--Reba McEntire: "My thoughts and prayers go out to Donna Summer's family. I will miss her but she will live on through all her wonderful music!"

A couple of months ago we learned that TRACE ADKINS was coming out with his own line of smoked sausage. Now it's JAKE OWENS' turn to get into the meat business.

Yesterday, Jake Tweeted, quote, "Thanks Smokey Mountain Beef Jerky for helping me launch my own Jake Owen jerky. Who wants some?!?"

LADY ANTEBELLUM’S concert in Louisville, Kentucky Wednesday night raised more than $285,000 for tornado-ravaged Henryville, Indiana, but prior to the show, the band hosted a prom for the town's high school juniors and seniors.

Hillary Scott says, "This event started as an idea we had in the studio last year to crash someone's prom. We had no idea at the time it would fill such a need."

LadyAntebellum.com features a link for you to contribute to the Rebuild Henryville fund.

--Billy Mac: Friday DA Of The Day

Yesterday afternoon, (May 17), the Mackinaw Police Department notified the school district that a car
was seen in Carlock,in the morning hours, attempting to get kids to come over to the car. The car was
described as a dark blue Saturn with white scrape marks on it. No one was abducted!
However, I wanted to pass this information along to all Bull Country families. The schools,
have notified all staff members to be aware of this vehicle and any other suspicious vehicles
around the schools. Please take a moment to talk to your children about the dangers of interacting
with strangers and that they should never get into a vehicle with a stranger.
And to the DA who was creepin' on the kids atschool, you WILL be caught and hopefully taught a lesson..

Taylor Swift

So what were you doing when you were 22 years old?

If you're Taylor Swift, you're donating a very large sum of money to help kids enjoy country music.

It was announced today that Taylor, all on her own, is donating $4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for an exhibit and classroom space which will be called The Taylor Swift Education Center.

The donation is the largest in museum history by an artist and the second largest from a single person -- single as in one individual, not single as in ha ha you're single.

DARRYL WORLEY'S next album is titled "One Time Around" . . . and it's due out June 12th. Asked to describe it, he said, quote, "[It's] fun, and I can already tell the difference in not having such a heavy subject matter."

That subject matter he's referring to would be his last album and its title track, "Keep the Change" . . . which was a dig on PRESIDENT OBAMA'S 2008 campaign slogan Hope & Change.

Darryl believes the song didn't get radio play because it was too controversial. He said, quote, "Obviously, everybody didn't agree with that song. But that's why we make music, is to stir people's emotions.

"Whether you're for it or against it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day that's not my job, to decide whether that song should or should not be played on the radio. My job is to make good music that everybody loves.

"I'm tired of defending some opinion I might have."

LEE BRICE and his fiancée Sara Reeveley are looking to get married next year. Lee told "Country Weekly", quote, "I'm probably just going to take off the month of April . . . get married, go on a big, long honeymoon. It'll be nice."

CARRIE UNDERWOOD is headed Down Under next month, and she has many kind words for her old Aussie tour partner, Keith Urban.

Carrie tells the Australian version of PopSugar.com, "Keith is truly a great guy. He's obviously insanely talented, but he always wants those who tour with him to feel right at home. He's such a cornerstone of country music, and you all should be very proud to claim him as your own."

Randy Houser's wife, Jessa Lee, shared a photo of their baby boy West on Twitter.

If you want to experience BLAKE SHELTON’S energy, music and hilarity in the comfort of your own living room, you now have that option. Blake's Live: It's All About Tonight

--Billy Mac: Here's Your Thursday DA Of The Day

We always remind you around Mother's Day to take care of your mom, and here's why.  THIS story is the worst-case scenario we all want to avoid.

On Sunday night, 22-year-old Clifton Barkin of Beaumont, Texas went over to see his girlfriend, 20-year-old Paige Parkerson. She's the mother of his two young sons.

Barkin had gone to Walmart and picked up some flowers and a Mother's Day card for her. And apparently, that wasn't good enough.
They got into a massive fight, because Parkerson wanted a more EXPENSIVE gift, like jewelry. She ended up STABBING Barkin.....to....death...

Their two sons were asleep through the whole thing, and now they're staying with relatives. Cause Momma was arrested.

-Billy Mac: Alan Jackson, Mountain Man.

ALAN JACKSON IS OFFICIALLY A MOUNTAIN MAN:

Alan Jackson has been selling off quite a bit of property in the last couple of years, reportedly so he can simplify his life.

First there was the huge 19,000 square foot home called Sweetbriar thathe sold for $28 million a few years back. Now he's trying to sell anotherTennessee property for a little less than $3.4 million and he's also trying to unload his Jupiter Island, Florida property.

If you were worried about Alan being homeless with all this property selling, don't worry too much because he's apparently found a slice of heaven in a gated community in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia that, while only a seven minute drive to Clayton, Georgia, population 2198, is geared more towards the resident who likes to come by plane rather than by more earthbound means.

Heaven's Landing is an exclusive 635 acre mountainous community geared towards pilots that now proudly boasts a very famous resident. In their monthly newsletter, they officially introduced Jackson to his neighbors:

Heaven’s Landing is proud to introduce a world famous new addition, to our also world famous fly-in community.  Grammy Award winning country music star Alan Jackson, and his wife Denise recently became new owners at Heaven’s Landing.  You’ll notice the couple flying in regularly in either their Falcon 50 or their Lear 24.

“They are some of the most down to earth people that you will ever meet”, says developer Mike Ciochetti Jr.  Being an avid pilot himself, Alan appreciates his small fleet of private jets as he uses them for both business and family travel.  Heaven’s Landing is proud to have both Alan and Denise as new members of the Heaven’s Landing family of owners.

They even include a picture of Alan and Denise coming in for a landing in one of their above-mentioned planes.

Alan Jackson plane
No word on whether Alan and Denise bought an already-built home or are planning on building a custom one (I'm thinking they will be going custom), but if you're looking to relocate to be closer to your idol, it's gonna cost you. This real estate site has some properties in Heaven's Landing including hangars, bare land, and actual homes and they definitely cost a pretty penny....but I'm pretty sure you probably already guessed it would.

Jessica Simpson Is Gettin' Skinny And PAID!

Oh, baby, Jessica Simpson is making serious cash off her newborn daughter. People magazine will reportedly pay the star $800,000 to publish exclusive photos of baby Maxwell Drew Johnson. Jess, who gained at least 40 pounds during her pregnancy, has also reportedly signed a $3 million dollar deal to promote Weight Watchers.

By comparison, Jessica's deal with People is a far cry from the $6 million the publication reportedly paid Jennifer Lopez for photos of her twins in 2008.

Craig Morgan Wants You To Know That His Is Waaaayyy Bigger Than Blakes:

So apparantly size is an issue with Blake Shelton & Craig Morgan. Both are avid outdoorsmen and Blake bagged a nice trophy buck last season and not to be outdone so did Craig Morgan. And the photo proves that in fact Craig did bag the bigger white tail. So kudos to Craig Morgan for winning this outdoor battle with his buddy Blake Shelton.

Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher On Oprah This Weekend:

Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, will be Oprah Winfrey's guests on Sunday's episode of Oprah's Next Chapter. The show will air on the OWN network at 9.

The interview was filmed in Carrie and Mike's Nashville area cabin, marking the first time cameras have ever been invited inside the retreat. In related Carrie news, Carrie Underwood says her husband Mike Fisher is so conservative he doesn't even like to kiss her in public. So how does Mike feel about Carrie showing off her legs in those short skirts? She says, "He knows that even if the skirt's a little short, I would never do anything that my kids would be embarrassed about when they grow up.

It's A Two-Faced Freak Parade For Big & Rich:

Big and Rich released the cover art for their new single, "That's Why I Pray," and if you look closely you'll see something interesting. John explains, "Half of the face is Big Kenny and half of the face is me, and it looks like one face." They say the image symbolizes "the fine line between their hell-raising ways and knowing every day of their lives is a blessing."

"Self" magazine asked MIRANDA LAMBERT to list a few things she refuses to apologize for. She came up with 15 of them . . . and something tells me she could have kept going. Here are a few of our favorites:

--"I don't mind having a big butt. I actually like that about myself."

--"I carry a weapon. I got a death threat a few years ago and was really scared. But I don't want bodyguards. I am my own security."

--"I live on hairspray. The bigger the hair, the closer to God."

--"I'm a small-town girl. When you're famous, whoever you were before comes out more. So if you were an ass, you'll be even more of an ass."

--"I think Blake is a bit scared of me. He says he's not, but I've said, 'If you cheat, I'll spray-paint all of your trophy deer heads pink.'"

You can check out all 15 things that Miranda will never apologize for here.

We all laughed when a cop handcuffed JAKE OWEN . . . but did NOT arrest him . . . outside a Steak 'n Shake on Cinco de Mayo. It was funny because he looked silly in those board shorts and cuffs . . . and because nothing serious went down.

As you may recall, Jake got married two days later and decided to focus on that instead of telling us exactly what happened that night.

Here's what he said, quote, "I was with my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother-in-law, all my nieces and nephews. We were just at a show. We all rode my tour bus (and) walked off into the Steak 'n Shake.

"I looked at my driver and said, 'Hey, watch this. I have this old man mask.  It's pretty funny . . . [at least] I thought it was funny. But unbeknownst to me, I didn't know there's a law you're not allowed to go into a public establishment with a mask on."

It was suggested that someone in the restaurant probably thought he was about to rob the place. Jake kind of agreed, but added, quote, "Okay, I could understand that if I got out of a getaway van. But I got out of a tour bus.

"People made a big deal out of it. But it's a Steak 'n Shake. At midnight."

Police in Orlando are on the lookout for a group of thieves selling expensive medical equipment at a huge discount. And those thieves may or may not have SKIN.

Back on May 3rd, the thieves rolled up to the Florida Hospital Center for Diagnostic Pathology in a pickup truckThey broke into an enclosed area near the garbage bins, and stole about $500,000 worth of medial equipment.

But here's what they didn't realize. The center had put that equipment outside because it was contaminated with FLESH-EATING BACTERIA.

So if the thieves have handled the equipment, they're in mortal danger.

The cops haven't gotten any reports yet of people going to hospitals in the area because of flesh-eating bacteria, and they're still looking for the thieves.

Facebook is just outstanding at taking down stupid criminals. And these guys are some of the stupidest

Last week in CalimaColombia, two men went to an Internet café, used the computers, and then when it was time to pay, they PULLED GUNS and robbed the place. Then, they took off.

The café manager called the cops. When they got there, they checked the computers the guys were using . . . and found one of them had logged into Facebook and left his page up on the screen.

The cops ran his name, got his address, and arrested him at home. There's no word if they caught the other guy too.

-Billy Mac: Tom Cruise Is A Rockstar & More

Tom Cruise: RockStar

Tom Cruise (who is 49 BTW) is sporting long hair and fake ink — putting on his best rock star poses to promote his upcoming movie musical, "Rock of Ages." In the film, which is based on the mega-hit Broadway play, he plays Stacee Jaxx, a sleazy '80s-era rock star that's part Axel Rose, part Bret Michaels — but with Cruise's own special spin. After learning how to play guitar and training with the Guns N' Roses singer's vocal coach for weeks, "I was thinking about the character, and I said, 'You know what? I need a monkey,'" Cruise, 49, tells W Magazine in its June issue. "Adam [Shankman, the film's director] said, "What the f--k are you talking about?' And I said, 'I'm serious — I need a monkey.' When Stacee's not onstage, he's kind of sad. And I thought this guy has to have a monkey that's his best friend."

After an extensive casting search for Cruise's primate co-star, Shankman found the perfect match: a baboon. But it had to meet the star's approval first. "He sent me the baboon's audition tape," Cruise adds with a laugh, "and I said, 'The baboon's name has to be Hey Man.' Stacee Jaxx doesn't work without Hey Man." In my honest opinion I think this could turn out to be the movie of the summer. Judging by the trailer it looks like the love child of the movies "Footloose" & "Burlesque"... Give it a look and tell me what you think.

Blake Shelton Shares A Reflective Moment On Twitter:

Those who follow Blake Shelton on Twitter know he is funny, sarcastic, unfiltered and often irreverent and inappropriate, but on Friday night he shared a rare and poignant moment with his followers when he tweeted, “Strange how when you come to a sudden stop that long line of things you’ve been trying to out run slams right back into you.. I miss my dad.”  Blake’s father passed away on January 17th of this year after a lengthy illness.  Blake had just kicked off his Well Lit & Amplified Tour five days earlier, so after rescheduling a couple of dates to take time off for his father’s funeral he was right back out on the road.  As soon as the tour was over he immediately went to work onthe second season of The Voice and began preparing to co-host the ACM Awards.  Now that season two ofThe Voice has concluded, Blake has about a month off at home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and it seems he is finally beginning to truly process and feel the emotion of losing his father.  Reba, who has become like a second mother figure to Blake, and who almost lost her own father last year, acknowledged his post by tweeting, “I love you, Blake.”

--Billy Mac: Check These Out!

6 Year Old Surprises His Soldier Dad:

Now . . . we've all seen those videos where a Momma or Daddy comes home from being stationed overseas in the military and surprises their kid, right?

Well, six-year-old Michael Cooney turned the tables on his Marine dad and made a video that's even MORE likely to make you cry than any one you’ve EVER seen. Ever.

Go ahead and grab a snot-rag. Ya’ll are gonna need it. Trust me.

TIME Magazine Cover Controversy:

The new issue of "Time" magazine has a pretty provocative cover, probably engineered for maximum SHOCK VALUE, to get people talking. And it’s working.

It shows a 26-year-old mother BREASTFEEDING her three-year-old son. He's too big to be in her arms, so he's standing on a small chair to reach her. Yup. He’s almost 4-YEARS-OLD!

It's for a story about Dr. Bill Sears, a pediatrician who's calling for extended breastfeeding. But obviously a photo of HIM on the cover wasn't going to be as exciting as a toddler breastfeeding, so "Time" went with that.

Man Vs. Goose:

So imagine if you will. You are walking to your office one morning and out of nowhere.....BAMMMM.. A wild goose goes all Jackie Chan karate crazy on you... Well it could happen, and here's the video to prove it.. Man where is Bear Grylls when you need him!

--Billy Mac It's The FRIDAY DA Of The Day!

A Canadian man is licking his wounds, rather than his fingers, after cops busted him on a distracted driving charge -- because he was driving his car hands-free ... while eating a rotisserie chicken.
A cop spotted Michael Gibson driving erratically and noticed that he was using his knees to steer, while paying more attention to the bowl of chicken sitting in his lap. While the 58-year-old admitted that he may have drifted between lanes a couple of times, he insisted it was not because he was distracted by his lunch.
Gibson racked up a total of $460 in fines for the incident, so it sounds like Canadian cops see eating the bird as even more frowned upon than flipping the bird.

Prepare To Be Inspired:

A 22-year-old cancer patient at the Seattle Children's Hospital made a video with other patients and nurses on his floor, where they're lip synching to "Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson. And it's pretty inspiring.

Now Say Somethin Else And See What Happens:

Last month, 69-year-old Yuri Ticuic from the Siberia region of Russia got into a fight with his wife over her LOUSY COOKING. He was so mad that her soup was always cold, that he stormed out of the house. And then he got lost in a frozen Siberian forest. Where he wasn't found for THIRTY DAYS.Yuri survived by scavenging for berries, EATING HAY, and DRINKING SNOW. I think this goes without saying . . . but at that point, he probably missed his wife's cold soup A LOT.After a month, some farmers finally found him. He was too weak to walk and severely frostbitten.
Yuri told reporters he'll never criticize his wife's cooking again.

Sunday night, BRANDON INGE of the Oakland A's hit a huge homerun that a couple of fans will never forget. Not because they almost caught the ball, but because it hit one of them right in the crotch and the other right in the mouth.

JOHN RICH is the first artist I've heard say anything since ERIC CHURCH apologized for talking smack about singing competitions. And he totally has Eric's back on the whole thing.

John said, quote, "I heard his apology. I think he just got to talkin' too fast probably and didn't realize, 'Uh-oh, I didn't remember all these great singers that have come from some of these shows.'

"I don't think he was trying to be that malicious about it or anything."

Not only does John give Eric a pass . . . he'd also like to see him as a contestant on "The Celebrity Apprentice".

John said, quote, "I would like to just extend an invitation that if he wants to meet DONALD TRUMP and go on "Celebrity Apprentice", I will make that happen.

"The guy's been working his tail off for however many years on the road and building his audience, and he's a smart, tough guy. I do think he'd be good."

TAYLOR SWIFT got invited to another high school prom . . . but this might be one she'll actually attend. A boy named Devon Whitney made a YouTube video asking Taylor to his senior prom in AuroraColorado

Devon has an extremely rare disease called Oto-Palatal-Digital Syndrome, or OPD. He's had over two-dozen surgeries since he was born. The syndrome also makes Devon look a little different.

He told Denver's KUSA-TV, quote, "People stare at me because of the way I look. They laugh at me and talk behind my back. And sometimes I can hear them. You want to say something, but you can't. And it hurts."

Devon says he's too shy to ask anyone in school to the prom . . . so he decided to shoot for the moon and see if Taylor would go.

His YouTube video has gotten over 9,800 views . . . and I'm guessing word has probably gotten back to Taylor by now. We sure hope she can make this happen.

Take a look and I guarantee you'll be pulling for him.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S album "Blown Away" has debuted at Number One on the "Billboard" Top 200. It's a big deal because she's only the THIRD woman to take three country albums to #1.The other two were FAITH HILL and LINDA RONSTADT.

Naturally, "Blown Away" also debuted at #1 on the magazine's Top Country Albums chart . . . making her only the SECOND country artist have each of their first four albums debut at #1.The other artist to do that was MIRANDA LAMBERT.

-Billy Mac: Thursdays DA Of The Day

An Indiana man was pulled over by state troopers and cited for drinking and driving with four kids ... ON the car.

Aaron Stefanski and his girlfriend Jessica Clark had stopped to refuel -- at a liquor store, that is -- when they were struck with the bright idea to strap the kids to the hood with a tow strap. The store manager saw the scene go down and called cops, who tracked the car down about three blocks away.

Stefanski, whose blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, insisted he'd only driven "about 20 feet" and said he just strapped the kids on because he thought they'd enjoy it.

TAYLOR SWIFT has sold over 20 million albums, which is enough for her to be confident about her abilities as an artist, right? Well, yes . . . and no.

She tells "American Songwriter", quote, "I think I'm confident about every aspect of my career, sometimes. But I'm never always confident. I'm never always confident about my songwriting.

"I'm never 100 percent confident about anything that I do.

"And I think that keeps you growing. And I think that keeps you motivated. I never want to get complacent and I never want to be 100 percent confident about any skill that I have. It's just not the way I think and not the way that you grow."

BRAD PAISLEY may be a skilled guitarist and terrific songwriter . . . but he doesn't believe he's a natural at either. And that's why he considers himself more of a Batman than a Superman.

I'll let him explain. Brad says, quote, "There are people who were born to do this. I don't think I was one of those. I feel more like Batman than Superman. Superman was always going to save this world and was sent here to do that.

"There's no getting around it. When you can fly and look that good in tight blue tights, you're gonna be a super hero. But Batman had to figure out ways to do it without super powers and I don't know, I feel more like that."

MIRANDA LAMBERT just racked up her fourth number one hit, "Over You," a song she co-wrote with her husband, BLAKE SHELTON. While Miranda has written three of her chart toppers, this is Blake's first as a songwriter.

Miranda says, "He texted me the other day and said, 'Thank you, I've never written a number-one song before' and he's had 11."

Next up for Ran is the song "Fastest Girl in Town" from her Four the Record album. If you want  an early preview of this song just log on to the "New Country Stream " at 1077thebull.com or just click the link right  HERE

JOHN RICH made a surprise appearance on Celebrity Apprentice Sunday night, but he and Big Kenny assure us they haven't left country music.

John says that in the three years since their last record came out they have been "making songs and babies." With two sons each, their time writing songs is limited, but they have a new single coming later this month.

--Billy Mac: The Humpday DA Of The Day

“You hear of those World’s Dumbest Criminals every once in a while but you never think it's gonna happen in your city." That's what Wilmer, Texas Police Chief Victor Kemp said after a teen was arrested after reportedly trying to rob a cop inside a police station.

According to KVTV, Keithan Manuel, 18, walked into the Wilmer Police Department Saturday evening with a towel wrapped around his hand, and pointed it at an officer on duty. "He told our Communications Officer 'give me all your money.'" Kemp said, and the suspect reportedly reinforced his threat, saying, "You know I have a gun, right?"

The police dispatcher immediately called for back-up and the man was arrested at gunpoint. He didn't actually have a gun on him, as he threatened.

Manuel insisted it was a joke. "Man I play like that all the time," he confessed to KVTV. "I didn’t think she would take it seriously." He remains behind bars with a $200,000 bond, having been charged with robbery and other crimes.

Vero Beach police detained Jake on Saturday night for an unspecified reason for what he called "an immature decision."

All is well with Ashton and Miranda Apparantly...

It looks like Miranda Lambert and Ashton Kutcher have kissed and made up, so to speak.  Earlier this year when Ashton was a presenter on the ACM Awards, he came out on stage with two of his buddies and all three of them were dressed in Western attire.  Ashton sang a bit of George Strait’s “I Cross My Heart” and afterward, Miranda tweeted, “Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I’m kinda wondering?”  Justin Moore also felt like he was mocking country music, but Ashton tweeted, , “Miranda Lambert I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you’ve ever met. Wasn’t making fun at all.”

This weekend Miranda and Ashton both attended the celebrity-filled  Barnstable Brown Gala on the eve of the Kentucky Derby and Miranda tweeted a picture of her and Ashton with their heads pressed together and said, “@aplusk [Ashton’s Twitter name] here it is y’all. He is sweet and lives country music! [We think she meant to type loves] For real!:) and he likes randaritas!”

Jake Owen Gets Busted At His Hometown Steak & Shake

Jake Owen had an eventful Cinco de Mayo, to say the least.  Saturday night he tweeted a picture of himself standing in front of a Sheriff’s vehicle in handcuffs and told his fans, “I just got arrested in my own hometown.”  A spokesperson from the Sheriff’s office later clarified that Jake was not arrested, but merely detained.  It was clear that Jake was not taken to jail because shortly after posting the picture of himself in handcuffs he went on a Twitter rant about the incident.  He explained that he was wearing an old man mask “and the sheriff decided to rip me out of Steak And Shake and embarrass me in front of my family.”  Apparently there is a law in the state of Florida that was enacted in the 1950’s that prohibits the wearing of masks or hoods on public property, that was originally designed to combat the Ku Klux Klan, and their tradition of wearing white hoods.  The Sheriff’s spokesperson told the Indian River Press Journal that Jake was dancing outside the window of the restaurant and “He had a mask on, some type (of mask) that looked like an older man.  At the time, the deputy didn’t know what he had.”  Once Jake’s family came outside and explained what was going on, Jake was released.

Immediately after the incident Jake was clearly unhappy about the situation when he tweeted, “You give a guy a gun and a badge and he thinks he’s John Wayne. Thanks Indain (sic) River County Sheriffs Office. Unreal.”  He ended the night by saying, “I’m calling it a night. My mom cried. My Dad was embarrassed. I lived out another day. Happy Cinco De Mayo.”

By the next morning Jake had reevaluated the situation and regretted letting the immediacy of Twitter get the best of him.  He deleted most of his tweets from the night before and proceeded to issue a heartfelt apology in a series of five tweets, which read, “Y’all I apologize. The IRC Sheriff was doing their job. I love hometown. I had too good of a time on Cinco de Mayo.  I want to publicly apologize again for bringing to light a situation that I overreacted to.  I embarrassed myself and my family and most importantly the great people of my hometown.  The Sheriffs were doing their jobs and I made an immature decision to announce it to the world. This is me talking.  Not some puppet that is reciting what he ‘should’ say. I take full responsibility. Again, what’s done is done, but I am truly sorry.”

--Billy Mac: Happy Monday... Here's Your DA Of The Day

A Florida man nearly drove cops bananas after they stopped him for barreling down the road at more than 70 miles per hour -- only to find him drunk as a skunk ... and accompanied by a monkey!

Eugene Kotelman blew past a trooper's checkpoint without seeing the cruiser, but did pull over without incident. When he did, the deputy found him to be extremely inebriated, with a small monkey riding shotgun.

Kotelman, who has a lengthy record peppered with DUI convictions, was ordered held on $5,000 bond. The monkey was not charged, and was turned over to one of his friends for safe keeping.

Toby Wouldn't Even Need His Red Solo Cup....
Well just when you thought you had seen it all...A scientist in France named David Edwards has invented a mouth spray that gets you INSTANTLY DRUNK. But it only lasts for a few seconds. Then you go back to being sober, you won't have a hangover, and you can legally drive.

I'm not sure if I'd only want to be drunk for five seconds . . . that's really not enough time to dance, be charming, or get into a fight. But I reckon I'd give it a try.

Each time you take a spray, you get hit with 0.075 milliliters of alcohol. That's a concentrated dose that's just enough to make you momentarily hammered. For comparison, a shot is 44.4 milliliters of alcohol, so this is like 0.16% of a shot.

The spray is called the WA|HH Quantum Sensations spray . . . perhaps the marketing team was in the middle of their five drunk seconds when they thought THAT was a good name?

Right now it's only on sale in France, for $26. No word on when it could come to the U.S.

Billy Mac's Twang Town Low Down for 5-4

Some artists, like
ALAN JACKSON and TAYLOR SWIFT, are terrific songwriters. And then there's TIM MCGRAW, who isn't . . . which explains why he prefers to record stuff written by other people.

Tim discovered how bad a writer he could be during his first few years in Nashville. He tells "American Songwriter", quote, "Those first two or three years, I had written a couple hundred songs with writers all over town. They're floating around out there somewhere. A couple may be good but most of them were awful."

In other Tim McGraw news: According to the "Las Vegas Sun", Tim and his wife FAITH HILL are close to signing a deal to do a run of weekend concerts in a small, 1,800-seat theater in Las Vegas.

The run will supposedly go from November to April . . . after Tim finishes his summer tour with KENNY CHESNEY.

There's no word on the venue, but it's supposed to be super close to Steve Wynn's Encore Theater where GARTH BROOKS has been doing his weekend shows for the past few years.

This happened a couple of weeks ago . . . but it's just coming out now. BILLY DEAN helped save the life of a Great Blue Heron that got tangled in an abandoned fishing line near Port St. Joe, Florida, about 30 miles south of Panama City.

Billy and his family saw a bunch of teenagers in the water fumbling with the bird . . . so he jumped in and helped unravel the line. Billy said, quote, "I was fortunate to have been there to help them untangle the bird and bring it to shore."

Great Blue Heron's are a protected species so Billy and his wife called a local wildlife group . . . and they took it from there.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD is watching hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher's beard get denser as his Nashville Predators compete in the second round of the playoffs.

She doesn't love it, but she says, "I get it. I respect the beard." It could get longer, though.

Before they met, Mike's team made it to the Stanley Cup and Carrie says he looked like a "mountain man."

Billy Mac: And Boom Goes The DA Of The Day

Earlier this month, Deidra Reed of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma got her bill from her electric company, OG&E. She felt like it was TOO HIGH.

Bless her heart, they didn’t want a deposit or a down payment . . . they wanted the WHOLE thang!!

So she allegedly called them . . . and threatened to BLOW THEM UP.

How high of a bill was it that drove her to make that threat? A bank-breaking $14.

Deidra is sort-of denying it. She told a reporter, quote, "I remember flipping out, but I don't really remember what was said."

She also says if she DID threaten to blow up the place, it was an idle threat. Quote, "I'm struggling to pay $40-a-month for rent. How the hell am I [going to] buy some bomb equipment. I don't even know how to make a bomb."

She's facing a felony charge for the threat.

Your HumpDay DA Of The Day

A pair of boozed-up Floridians didn't want to risk putting their seven-year-old granddaughter in the car when they drove home -- so they decided to tow her behind it, sitting in her own toy car.

Paul and Belinda Berloni were charged with child endangerment after cops spotted the little girl, wearing a swimsuit, but no helmet, riding in the Hot Wheels vehicle, which was tied to their SUV with a dog leash.Paul, who was piloting the bigger vehicle at about 10 miles per hour, acknowledged that he'd been drinking -- and that he did not have a valid license.

According to the police report, Belinda was also wasted, and admitted she knew the stunt was dangerous, but said they were "just having fun."

Another Celebrity DA Of The Day

In an interview with Rolling Stone country music rocker Eric Church seems to get just a little carried away. Eric, who supported Miranda Lambert on her 2010 “CMT  On Tour: Revolution” headlining tour, slamsBlake Shelton, American Idol, and The Voice. Eric takes a hit against American Idol and reality show television, saying that the country music industry is filled with talent from reality competitions – saying that trying out for a show like The Voice means you aren’t a true artist. In the interview, Eric says:

“It’s become American Idol gone mad. Honestly, if Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green f—ing turn around in a red chair, you get a deal? That’s crazy. I don’t know what would make an artist do that. You’re not an artist.”

Eric wasn’t done just yet. He takes a little dig at Blake, who is a coach on the highly successful The Voice, and says that anyone who’s career depends on something outside their music then they also aren’t a real artist.

“If I was concerned about my legacy, there’s no f—ing way I would ever sit there [and be a reality-show judge]. Once your career becomes something other than the music, then that’s what it is. I’ll never make that mistake. I don’t care if I f—ing starve.”

In case that wasn’t enough, the “Country Music Jesus” singer also had a few things to say about rock fans and Lollapalooza:

“Rock & Roll has been very emo or whatever the f—. It’s very hipster. We played Lollapalooza and I was stunned at how pussy 90 percent of those bands were. Nobody’s loud. It’s all very f—-n’ Peter, Paul and Mary sh–.”

What do you think about Eric’s interview in Rolling Stone? Do you agree with him, or do you think he needs a bit of a reality check? Sound off below and get your voice heard. Read Eric’s interview for yourself in the current issue of Rolling Stone with President Obama on the cover.
