Montgomery Gentry landed in Australia late last week and, after recovering from jet lag, hit the town for some "souvenir" shopping. On their Facebook page, Eddie showed off the item he was thinking about taking home -- a Gibson guitar. Troy, on the other hand, is looking for something a little more permanent -- a tattoo.
Taylor Swift has reportedly plunked down $2.5 million for a Greek Revival-style mansion in the tony Belle Meade neighborhood of Nashville. According to RealEstalker.com, the four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home was built in the 1930s by an American ambassador to Denmark. The Nashville house Taylor bought for her parents last year is currently on the market. She also owns a penthouse apartment near Nashville's music row, as well as a home in Beverly Hills.
Brad Paisley is trying to make peace with Arkansas Razorbacks fans after the prank that left them fuming. It started when Brad's opening act, Arkansans Eden's Edge, stole his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers floor mat and replaced it with a Razorback mat -- which he proceeded to burn. But he insists it wasn't a slam against the Razorbacks, just a way to get even with his openers. Brad writes on Twitter, "I will be rooting for the Razorbacks this year. Lord knows you have a better shot at the title than we do. May you win 'em all."
Brad jokes that he's glad the tour is taking him far away from the mess he caused and to a more peaceful place -- London!
LeAnn Rimes is a featured model on the Mikoh Swimwear website, but her bikini isn't as revealing as her interview. She tells the site that her plans for the future are uncertain, but she says, "I plan on music, film, family -- mostly family at some point."
LeAnn's new album, Lady and Gentlemen, hits store shelves on September 27th.
Martina McBride's Eleven comes out on October 11th. Martina recorded the album in Atlanta rather than at home in Nashville so she could focus on making the best music possible without any distractions.
The title is pretty self-explanatory -- it's her 11th studio album, features 11 songs and celebrates her standing as the most-played female country artist for the past 11 years.
Following a run of TV appearances in New York, including Regis and Kelly and the Today Show, Luke Bryan hit Central Park, literally. A nasty spill while skateboarding landed him in a Big Apple ER. The subsequent photo posted on Twitter revealed stitches running across his forehead.
This is the second time in three months that Luke has needed stitches. The previous incident occurred on stage.
Brett Eldredge managed to squeeze in a prank on Brad Paisley before the Wetter and Wilder Tour breaks for Brad's European dates. On their tour stop in Columbus, Ohio, Brett had Brad's shiny red Corvette removed from it's parking spot next to his tour bus and replaced it with a miniaturized child's version of the car, complete with personalized Paisley plates while the superstar was on stage. Brad was a good sport, and thanked the newcomer for joining him.
Got a chance to make a funnel cake at the Mclean County Fair. I always wondered how they were made. It's very interesting how little batter it takes to make one. Finished product is below. Not bad for a first timer.
