Everything ACM's
Last night's 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will go down as the show that had the most diverse group of presenters and performers. Here's a look at some of the highlights...
  • Reba McEntire and Blake Shelton were in good form in the opening monolog with Reba teasing Blake about his head being a support system for his mullet early in his career. Blake fired back about not seeing her early performances until the History Channel came along.
  • KISS, in full make-up, arrived at the show in the KISS Mobile, and were perhaps the most unusual presenters of the night. They handed out the award for Vocal Group of the Year award to Lady Antebellum.
  • Dressed in cowboy gear, Ashton Kutcher gave out the Female Vocalist of the Year award, but not before singing a verse of George Strait's "I Cross My Heart."
  • Blake Shelton gave a beautiful and touching introduction of Miranda Lambert's "Over You," which they wrote about Blake's brother, who was killed in a car accident when Blake was younger.
  • Rocker Bono of U2, via video from Ireland, said he was inspired by Dierks Bentley's music, and introduced Dierks' "Home."
  • But the highlight of the night was the marriage of Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci of New Jersey, who tied the knot while Martina McBride and Pat Monahan of Train sang "Marry Me."

Taylor Swift may have won Entertainer of the Year, the big award of the night, but Miranda Lambert was the belle of the ACM ball, bringing home two trophies. Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson also picked up two awards each for their duet, "Don't You Wanna Stay." Kenny Chesney, who was the front-runner with nine nominations, went home empty handed.
