Brad Paisley on American Idol could become Reality!

Sources have confirmed that Brad Paisley is in Los Angeles to talk to producers of American Idol about a judging gig, according to TheCountryVibe.com. Rumors began surfacing last week that Brad is in the running to join Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey on the panel. Toby Keith has already turned down a chance to discuss the job.

Auditions for season 12 contestants have already begun, and American Idol premieres on FOX in January.

Garth Says He'll Return In Two Years

Garth Brooks came out of semi-retirement for a night to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Canada's Calgary Stampede. But don't look for a full-blown tour extravaganza for a couple more years. True to his word when he stepped away in 2001, he won't be back on the road until his youngest daughter, now a junior in high school, graduates. Coincidentally, it is that daughter Allie Colleen that is showings signs of being a performer herself. Garth tells the Canadian Press, "She's got the bug but she's got the goods, too. She starts playing and singing, I have to get up and leave because I spent my whole life crying. It seems the older I get, I cry at commercials."
