BLAKE SHELTON PREMIERES NEW SINGLE "OVER" TONIGHT ON "THE VOICE"!

BLAKE SHELTON premieres his brand new single "OVER" tonight during the Semi-Finals on "THE VOICE" on NBC.
All 8 Semi-Finalists will perform 1 song each and then sing together. Finalists will then be named on the elimination episode Tuesday evening, May 1st.
Blake's new single "OVER" is the latest release from his "RED RIVER BLUE" album. Blake is the reigning ACM & CMA Male Vocalist of the Year!

BLAKE SHELTON At The INDIANA STATE FAIR!

BLAKE SHELTON will take the stage this summer at the INDIANA STATE FAIR! But, the concert will take place off the fairgrounds and will instead, be at a new location. The concert will held at the BANKERS LIFE FIELDHOUSE in Indianapolis.
The entire Fair Concert Series will be held at the new location following last year's tragedy. Seven people were killed & dozens injured when high winds toppled the staging just before SUGARLAND was to perform last August 13th during the fair.
BLAKE is scheduled to appear AUGUST 17th. Other artists announced to perform at the Indiana State Fair include: BARRY MANILOW, TRAIN, JOURNEY, & PAT BENATAR.
The GRANDSTAND at the INDIANA STATE FAIRGROUNDS, has been "retired" as a fair concert venue.

TOBY KEITH is spending the next 12 days in the Middle East entertaining our troops! TOBY is celebrating 10 years with the USO. He has visited at least 14 countries and has met over 182,000 of our military personnel.
TOBY says the rewards of the visits are 2-fold: "You not only get to go serve your country-and the people who serve it, but it's just a great trip and you get to see things you've never seen before in your life".
TOBY will do shows in 5 countries over a 12-day period.

BRAD PAISLEY VISITS SOUTH PARK TONIGHT!

BRAD PAISLEY makes a guest appearance on "SOUTH PARK" that airs tonight on COMEDY CENTRAL!
BRAD will appear as himself and makes at least 2 appearances on the episode.
In the first scene, Brad is introduced & sings the National Anthem as a lead-in to the DENVER NUGGETS Basketball game. And then, later in the show, Brad sings a duet with "Cartman"-one of the main characters on the show.
You can catch BRAD on "SOUTH PARK" on COMEDY CENTRAL tonight at 9pm (Central ).

ALAN JACKSON SELLS HIS ESTATE! LOCATION! LOCATION!! LOCATION!!!

ALAN JACKSON is down-sizing. ALAN is selling his estate on Center HIll Lake in Smithville, Tennessee for just under $5 MILLION!
The 5-bedroom, 5-bath house comes with a guest house, 2-story houseboat, boat dock,and a helipad for landing a helicopter. Alan says, "It's a lot like being in your own private national park on 60 miles of lake--just a beautiful place." He says it has always been a retreat & a sanctuary and has written many songs there.
Alan & his wife, Denise are selling properties for practical reasons--their kids have grown up and they don't use the houses as a family much. Also, after Denise's bout with cancer, they have re-evaluated their priorities, and the houses do not fit in with their future plan.

SCOTTY GOES TO THE PROM!

SCOTTY McCRERRY took a break from touring this past week to enjoy one of best events of school--that would be his Senior Prom at his Garner High School!
The 18-year-old Scotty attended his prom Saturday night with some of his friends and was gracious enough to share a picture on his twitter page.
Now, if Scotty's date looks familiar, she is Gabi Dugal--that is because she played his "love interest & leading lady" in his music video "THE TROUBLE WITH GIRLS" which was released last fall.

WILLIE NELSON STATUE UNVEILED on 4-20....

A statue honoring WILLIE NELSON is expected to be unveiled in downtown Austin, Texas this Friday Afternoon, (4-20)--ironically also known as a counter-cultural holiday on which people celebrate the use of marijuana and an annual national day of protest for the legalization of marijuana.
WILLIE is a well known advocate of legalizing marijuana and has been arrested several times for possessing it. But, the group that raised the money for the 8-foot bronze statue said the date for the unveiling was just a coincidence.
Willie will be on hand when the statue is unveiled...which is to take place at approximately 4:20 pm to add to the symbolism.

COUNTRY REMEMBERS DICK CLARK.

"America's Oldest Teenager" has died at the age of 82. DICK CLARK known for "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" is also known for being the Producer for one of Country muisc's biggest nights-"THE ACADEMY of COUNTRY MUSIC Awards every year!
Country artists have taken to social media to express their thoughts & condolences on the passing of DICK CLARK. Including that of CURB RECORDS Chairman, MIKE CURB. MIKE CURB has launched many music careers including: LEE BRICE, TIM McGRAW, WYNONNA, LeANN RIMES--just to name a few. MIKE CURB-also a musician, wrote the opening theme to "AMERICAN BANDSTAND" that we heard every week. They were friends for over 50 years.
According to a spokesman, DICK CLARK died Wednesday, (4/18), after suffering a massive heart attack in a Santa Monica, California hospital after being treated for an outpatient procedure.

TRACY LAWRENCE ROBBED!

TRACY LAWRENCE & his band woke up to a surprise while on tour out in Bakersfield, California earlier this week! Tracy's equipment trailer was broken into around 4:30 early in the morning and thousands of dollars worth of music gear and several items were stolen.
However, several music companies & friends came to Tracy's aid to help replace the stolen items!
Robert Keeley of Keeley Electronics jumped on board by donating replacement gear for the guitar rig. Others shipped in equipment in time for his next concert. Help came from Howard Jones-Jamie Jackson-Sam Ash Music, & Matt Adams of SWEETWATER.
Tracy is now able to continue his tour stop in Bakersfield Thursday night.
Tracy really found out who his friends are!

TAYLOR, CARRIE, & JAKE make Entertainment Weekly's list of the "30 GREATEST MUSIC ARTISTS-RIGHT NOW".
Right behind #1 Adele is TAYLOR SWIFT at #2. CARRIE UNDERWOOD makes it to 4th place.
JAKE OWEN is named the "Nashville Casanova" coming in at #19 on the list.
Kind of surprised that Lady A or Kenny Chesney did NOT make the list....

For the first time this season Coach BLAKE SHELTON will perform alongside his 4 remaining artists during "THE VOICE" Monday night, (APRIL 16th). Each remaining artist on Teams Blake & Chrisitna will have the opportunity to further showcase their talents as they each perform an additional song before viewers vote to save their favorite member from each team.

KEITH URBAN to become MEMBER OF GRAND OL OPRY!

KEITH URBAN was invited to become a member of the GRAND OLE OPRY last night (Tuesday, 4/10), during the "ALL FOR THE HALL" benefit concert in Nashville.
The invitation was made by the newest Opry members-RASCAL FLATTS along with VINCE GILL.
Keith was totally caught off guard and covered his face in surprise, "I don't know what to say--but first--YES! Thank you very much to everybody at the Grand Ole Opry who made this possible. I'm shocked. How beautiful for this to happen tonight of all nights."
KEITH URBAN was born in NEW ZEALAND and was raised in AUSTRALIA and will be the VERY FIRST artist outside of NORTH AMERICA to become an OPRY member!

JAKE OWEN PROPOSES TO GIRLFRIEND ON STAGE!

Another Country Music Bachelor is OFF THE MARKET! JAKE OWEN proposed to his girlfriend, LACEY BUCHANAN over the weekend at his hometown show in Vero Beach, Florida.
While performing his hit single, "DON'T THINK I DON'T LOVE YOU", Jake dropped down to one knee and proposed. And of course, Lacey said, "YES!"
Jake & Lacey met on the set of his video for "EIGHT SECOND RIDE" and she has also appeared in his video for "BAREFOOT BLUE JEAN NIGHT".
The proposal to Lacey was totally unplanned as Jake did not even have a ring. Later Jake tweeted, "I am a happy man. Life is complete."

DAUGHTER OF FORMER NFL STAR TERRY BRADSHAW SIGNS COUNTRY ALBUM DEAL!

When RACHEL BRADSHAW was a little girl, her father-Hall of Fame Quarterback & part-time singer, TERRY BRADSHAW would pull out a guitar & would sing Patsy Cline's "CRAZY" with his daughter.
Two decades later, Dad & his daughter, Rachel celebrated her signing a record deal in Nashville.
Rachel says, "My parents wanted me to go to college but I came to Nashville to find out everything about music & songwriting: who do I talk to, how do I talk to them?" She spent a few years just meeting people and geting to know everyone she could and make friends. One of those friends was JERROD NIEMANN. Rachel co-wrote his hit, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and sang back-up on the song and is also in the video for the song.
And the rest is history...as they say. Rachel has signed her first record deal with Bigger Picture Record Group-whose producer is known for his work with ALAN JACKSON and ZAC BROWN BAND.

MIRANDA & PISTOL ANNIES TOURING THIS SUMMER!

MIRANDA & her all-girl group, "THE PISTOL ANNIES" will be hitting the recording studio this fall to work on their 2nd album. But, they will also be hitting amphitheaters & arenas for a summer tour! Miranda says once she wraps up her own "ON FIRE" tour, the "ANNIES" will hit the road!
Miranda says, "We will go out in May and will tour through December. Plus, work on a new album in the fall. I'm so happy with everything that has happened with me solo, and now all I can think about is my girls and developing my band."
No dates have been announced yet...but, we'll keep you posted.

RASCAL FLATTS fans having been waiting a long time for the release of their 8th studio album-"CHANGED".
They have a busy week lined up as well. Check them out tonight (Tuesday, 4/3) as they will perform the title track, "CHANGED" on ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS. Thursday, Rascal Flatts will appear on the "ELLEN" Show and then Thursday night in New York City for the premiere of their movie, "RASCAL FLATTS-CHANGED: 1 NIGHT ONLY EXCLUSIVE MOVIE EVENT".
Rascal Flatts will then wrap up their new album week with a show on ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA Friday morning--and then, they will get ready to kick off their summer tour "CHANGED".

Winners were announced last night for the 47th Annual Academy of Country Muisc Awards...
But, MIRANDA LAMBERT was the "Belle of the ACM Ball" Sunday night-winning 2 trophies! She won FEMALE VOCALIST of the YEAR. This is her 3rd consecutive win as FEMALE VOCALIST and she also took the top prize for ALBUM of the YEAR--FOR THE RECORD--making her the only female to have 3 albums win in this category. Miranda also won for: in 2007 for CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND and in 2009 for REVOLUTION. (This now ties the record of album wins with ALABAMA & GEORGE STRAIT).
Miranda's husband-BLAKE SHELTON also won for BEST MALE VOCALIST.
