JOE NICHOLS & WIFE HEATHER ON 'The View' FRIDAY!

JOE NICHOLS & his wife, HEATHER will be on live TV tomorrow (6/1) when they make a rare appearance together on "THE VIEW." And JOE will sing a song special to them...."THAT WOULD BE HER."
When HEATHER NICHOLS delivered a healthy baby girl on April 17th, like all happy new parents-she & husband JOE were grateful and happy beyound words. However, their path to delivering a baby to full term was a challenging, difficult, and often heartbreaking one. Joe & Heather had suffered 5 miscarriages before the birth of their daughter, DYLAN RIVER NICHOLS.
Tomorrow on "THE VIEW" , they will share their story in an effort to help other women who may be experiencing similar challenges.
JOE will sing the song he sang to Heather at their wedding and Heather says she played the song several times throughout her pregnancy. Plus, a line from the song, "THAT WOULD BE HER," inspired their daughter's middle name of RIVER. (The song can be heard on Joe's album, entitled "MAN WITH A MEMORY").
"THE VIEW" is on ABC-TV starting at 10am-Central.

TRACE ADKINS says his Dad is finally-really proud of him. Even though TRACE has all those gold and platinum records on the walls and then becoming a member of The Grand Ole Opry---all that didn't seem to impress his Dad that much as the NASCAR Busch Series race that they named after him...The TRACE ADKINS CHROME 300.

GEORGE STRAIT proves that looks can improve with age! AARP Magazine has selected GEORGE STRAIT as one of the 21 SEXIEST MEN OVER 50.
However, choosing just a handful over the "nifty 50" list was no easy task. The magazine polled writers and editors nationwide to come up with their "Men-On-Fire" list!
While KING GEORGE is the only one who matters to us country fans, he is in good company. Also named on the SEXY list is: Movie stars GEORGE CLOONEY, COLIN FIRTH, DENZEL WASHINGTON, ANTONIO BANDERAS, & LIAM NEESON. JON BON JOVI also made the list.
Of course, all of the 21 men who did make "The List" have aged well with their looks, but the writers and editors also took into consideration.....humor, brain power, artistic ability, genorosity and other great attributes & characteristics that can add to a man's sexiness!

LUKE BRYAN sings on the next episode of "THE BACHELORETTE" this MONDAY (5/28). LUKE will perform during a romantic date that takes place on the streets of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.
LUKE will get to sing 2 songs! Watch for him to sing his current hit, "DRUNK ON YOU" & his former #1 song, "DO I".
The new season of "THE BACHELORETTE" airs on Mondays at 7PM (Central) on ABC-TV.

"BROTHERS OF THE SUN" Tour is thee concert of the Year!
Rehearsals are over for KENNY CHESNEY & TIM McGRAW as they load up the buses-AND trailers! Watch out for this Convoy!
The 21-stadium tour kicks off in less than 2 weeks in Tampa, Florida and when it wraps up in August, the tour will have traveled nearly 20,000 miles of highways....with 20 BUSES & 80 TRACTOR TRAILERS!!!
KENNY says, "It doesn't seem that long ago when it was just 14 of us crammed into a 12-bunk bus we called "the iron lung", because it leaked diesal fumes inside the bus. There weren't enough bunks for everbody so we took turns sleeping on the couch and floor, but we were living the dream and having fun. And even though we have alot more stuff now, we're still having a blast and just as passionate about playing music and taking it out to the fans, whether it be in a club or stadium."
TIM added, "It's been alot of fun rehearsing in Nashville, but it's time to pack the trucks and head to Tampa. I'm pretty sure there are towns with smaller populations than we have on our road crew."
And here's a little interesting trivia for you! The 283 member tour crew will be fed by a traveling catering staff that will serve up 3 hot meals each day! Almost 3,200 meals will be prepared for the tour in just the 5 days surrounding the opening show in Tampa. That is a BIG WOW!

BIG & RICH Featured On JIMMY FALLON's ALBUM!

BIG & RICH are bringing a little bit of Country to JIMMY FALLON's new CD. It's called, "BLOW YOUR PANTS OFF," and is due out JUNE 12th.
The album is mostly song parodies and collaborations with a variety of big artists including:
PAUL McCARTNEY on "SCRAMBLED EGGS," JUSTIN TYIMBERLAKE for "HISTORY OF RAP" and BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN on one of two homages to Jimmy's favorite singer to impersonate, NEIL YOUNG sings "WHIP MY HAIR."
BIG & RICH are the only Country artist on the CD and featured on the track, "COUGAR HUNTIN'"...which is surprisingly NOT about killing a mountain lion!

TIM McGRAW has FINALLY found a new home! He has just signed a new record contract with one of the biggest names in Nashville! BIG MACHINE RECORDS!
TIM signed the deal and says...."Many people know that I came to Nashville 23 years ago on a Greyhound bus with nothing but a guitar. And 25 years to the day in May, I went back to the bus station and officially signed this deal. It was a significant way for me to mark this new beginning. I am happy to cal BIG MACHINE RECORDS my new home! Here's to the next 20 years!" (Tim was previously with CURB records)
Could a new album be far behind? Tim says he is already in the studio working on a new album.
BIG MACHINE RECORDS already has a very impressive roster: REBA, TAYLOR SWIFT, RASCAL FLATTS, MARTINA McBRIDE....and many of Country music's most promising rising stars!

OPRAH GETS CARRIE & HER HUSBAND To "DISAGREE" DURING INTERVIEW

Leave it to OPRAH to get CARRIE UNDERWOOD & husband MIKE FISHER to disagree!
When asked the BIG "are-you-having-a-baby-soon" question, CARRIE says, "NO" and Mike says, "OF COURSE!" (All in good fun, though). CARRIE goes on to say when the time is right. And then, there also is a discrepancy in the "FIRST KISS" department. OPRAH asked who initiated that first kiss, and they joke about who made the first move on that infamous New Year's Eve kiss!
OPRAH interviews the couple in their Nashville cabin and Carrie & Mike then take Oprah to the land where they plan to build their dream home.
This will be their first interview together---which airs ths SUNDAY NIGHT (5/20), on Oprah's Network (OWN) on cable.

FORBES has released it's list of THE WORLD'S MOST POWERFUL CELEBRITIES---and some COUNTRY names make the list! After #1: JENNIFER LOPEZ and #2: OPRAH; TAYLOR SWIFT is the highest paid COUNTRY artist at #11 with a small fortune of $57 MILLION.
Other Country stars on it includes: TOBY KEITH with $55 MILLION; KENNY CHESNEY with $44 MILLION; & then BRAD PAISLEY with $32 Million. LARRY THE CABLE GUY landed on the list too.
Country or pop, there is no question that TAYLOR is a money-making machine....new album "SPEAK NOW" was certified TRIPLE-PLATINUM barely a month after it's October release and with her tour stops grossing over $750-THOUSAND per night!
TAYLOR also earns big money as one of the faces of CoverGirl. And, her 4th album is due out this fall.

MIRANDA is on the latest "SELF" Magazine-out now! She talks about gaining 10 pounds, guns, and Blake! Miranda has always been proud of her curves and says, "I don't care about being stick-thin. I don't want stuff to jiggle. Really skinny actresses make me hungry--I see them and think Honey-you need to eat!" She says she is a size 8. But, does admit that sometimes she gets a little bigger than she wants and gained 10 pounds over the holidays.
MIRANDA says she asked BLAKE, "Dude, why didn't you tell me I got fat?" He said, "That would go over like a lead balloon. It's not my job to tell you-you're fat. It's my job to tell you you're beautiful."

CARRIE UNDERWOOD performs tonight on ABC's "DANCING WITH THE STARS"! She will hit the main stage tonight to sing her #1 song, "GOOD GIRL".
It will be a highly choreographed routine that will accompany her on stage.
"GOOD GIRL" is from her 4th studio album, "BLOWN AWAY" which has made history--being the 4th straight album to debut at #1 on the charts the first week out!

ABC-TV capped a very busy Friday evening full of renewals, cancellations and adds NEW SHOWS for the NEW FALL SEASON-including "Malibu Country", a sitcom starring REBA!
"Malibu Country" revolves around a recent divorcée (played by REBA) who moves her kids and mom (Lily Tomlin) from Nashville to Malibu, where she tries to reignite her singing career while keeping herself and her family kids from being corrupted by their materialistic new environs. Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect) also co-stars.
“Congrats to everyone associated with 'Malibu Country!' We got picked up. We’re going to have so much fun! Can’t wait to get to work!” ...REBA tweeted after the news.
REBA's new show airs this fall on ABC-TV. Stay tuned!

When DIERKS BENTLEY is not out on the road touring, he is at home with his girls! DIERKS says he definitely lives in a "girly" home.
When at home he loves to spend family time with his wife and 2 lovely daughters. Dierks even lets his oldest daughter put nail polish on his toes. The other night he was getting ready to do a show...had his flip-flops on and all the guys starting laughing at him! They were all pointing at his feet and laughing. When Dierks looked down, he realized he had PINK toe nails!

CEE LO GREEN has a song for BLAKE SHELTON--and he wants to make it a duet!
CEE LO says he has already given the song to Blake, so now it is up to him if he wants to sing with him or not.
The rest of the "THE VOICE" mentors have recorded songs together, including Christina Aguilera & Adam Levine with their hit single, "MOVES LIKE JAGGER." CEE LO even thinks the idea of forming a "Supergroup" with all 4 singers is a "great idea." He says, "Why not? Everybody's talented. Everybody's available and highly enthusiastic."
Recently, Christina had stated that she wanted to record a duet with Blake as well.
By the way, the finale for "THE VOICE" airs tomorrow night on NBC!

FAITH & TIM "Let's Go To Vegas" FOR REAL!!

FAITH HILL & TIM McGRAW may be singing her hit "LET'S GO TO VEGAS" real soon!
TIM & FAITH are about to sign a contract to sing at a venue-right next to the Wynn, where GARTH BROOKS performs.
According to reports, the couple is in talks for a series of weekend concerts in Vegas starting this November and then running through April of next year.
TIM & FAITH have also been rumored to have scrapped plans for a tour this fall in order to accomodate the Las Vegas residency.
Meanwhile, TIM hits the road with KENNY CHESNEY this summer on their "BROTHERS OF THE SUN" tour, which kicks off June 2nd in Tampa, Florida!

CARRIE ANNOUNCES "BLOWN AWAY" TOUR!

CARRIE UNDERWOOD has announced her new "BLOWN AWAY" headling tour! She is expected to hit more than 50 cities!
She'll kick off her tour in Nashville on May 12th. CARRIE will wind down things down December 22nd in Sunrise, Florida. (She will take off awhile during the summer months)
Part of CARRIE's International Tour will take her to CANADA as well as ENGLAND and AUSTRALIA...and of course- THE UNITED STATES!
HUNTER HAYES will be Carrie's OPENING ACT.
CARRIE will also donate $1 from each ticket sold during her North American leg of the tour to support the RED CROSS DISASTER RELIEF FUND with some proceeds of her Canadian concerts going to the CANADIAN RED CROSS.
Closer to home, concert stops include:
MOLINE--11/16;
ST. LOUIS--11/20;
& at CHICAGO's United Center--12/12.
Other cities may be added at a later date.
