In many developing countries where children have almost nothing, they still
have soccer. Even in the poorest villages it is common to see players
kicking balls fashioned from plastic bags and twine. Visiting Illinois
Wesleyan University professor Olukayode Ajayi will explore the relationship
between Africans and soccer and share his experiences on an all-African
soccer team in the Bloomington-Normal City Soccer League.

CCHS Sound Of Music
Central Catholic High School proudly presents The Sound of Music. Shows
will be Friday March 12th and Saturday March 13th at 7pm in the CCHS
auditorium at 1201 Airport Rd in Bloomington. Tickets are $8 for adults and
$5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be reserved in advance by
filling out the general public ticket order form found on Central's website
(www.blmcchs.org). Order forms can also be picked up in the school's main
office. Ticket orders are due by Friday March 5th, after this date all
tickets must be purchased at the door the night of the show.
