Single Day Admission Ticket:
  • Children 5 and under ... Free
  • Children, 6-12 ... $3.00
  • Adults ... $6.00
5-day Admission Wristband:
  • Children 5 and under ... Free
  • Children, 6-12 ... $6.00
  • Adults ... $15.00

General Information and Specials

  1. Admission tickets are required Wednesday, 6 a.m. until Sunday, 3 p.m.
  2. Wednesday, August 4th, is "Dollar Day"
  3. Admission tickets may be purchased at the Extension Office, Farm Bureau office (in stripmall in front of Interstate Center), or any Fair gate.
  4. "Young at Heart" Day is Thursday, August 5th. Seniors (60 and over) get in FREE all day!
  5. Wednesday, August 4, is Ag Day! McLean County Farm Bureau members and their families admitted to the Fair for FREE when they show their active Farm Bureau membership card.
  6. Wednesday and Thursday, August 4th and 5th, receive a FREE FAIR admission to the McLean County Fair when the following items are presented for each ticket:
    1. Backpack
    2. Zipper Binder

    or three sets of any of the following:

    1. 2 glue sticks
    2. 4 highlighters
    3. 1 set Binder Dividers
    4. 2 pkgs. wide-ruled notebook paper
    5. 2 wide-ruled spiral notebooks, 70 ct
    6. standard/metric 12" ruler
    7. 1 set colored pencils
    8. 5 pocket folders
    9. 1 box Markers
    10. scissors
       
    Items donated will be distributed in the form of FREE backpacks filled with school supplies to students with limited resources, who acquire all necessary immunizations and physicals, and show proof of school registration for the 2009-2010 school year. Items donated will be distributed among participants at the Back to School Party on August 12th, sponsored in part by McLean County Extension, State Farm Insurance, Country Companies, and many others.

Evening Grandstand Entertainment

    The tractor pull will feature 5500# Antiques,5500# Classics, Local 4WD Trucks
     
  • Thur., August 5th: Big Smoker's Tractor and Local Pickup Pull-offs - $5.00
    The tractor pull-off will feature 1800# Limited Mini Rod, 2000# Mini Rod, NEW 8200# Super Stock, NEW 8200# Limited Pro Stock, 9500# Pro Farm, 10,000 Pro Stock
  • Fri., August 6th : David Nail Concert- FREE David Lee Murphy Country Concert - FREE
  • Sat., August 7th : Pepsi Nationwide Demolition Derby - $15.00

  • During the Royalty Conest on Wednesday night Farm Bureau will again recognize individuals for their outstanding contributions to the McLean County Fair and 4-H over the past decades.
