Sam Hunt will receive CMT’s first ever Song of the Year at the 2017 Artist of the Year celebration next month.

He’ll be honored for “Body Like a Backroad,” which has broken several records, including the most consecutive weeks on top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart by a solo artist.

The show airs live on October 18th from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
