The McLean County Clerk’s Office along with the Bloomington Election Commission announced today the locations, dates and times of ballot drop boxes for the November 2020 election. This is the first time drop boxes specifically for mail-in ballots will be used in McLean County. They were legalized in June when legislation was signed expanding voting-by-mail options statewide because of the pandemic. If voters do not wish to mail their ballot, they have the option of depositing their ballot in one of several securely located drop boxes around McLean County. Ballots will be collected daily by election judges so that no ballots will remain at these locations overnight.
Any completed, sealed ballot can be deposited at any of these drop box locations.
The drop boxes will be available on various days and times between September 28 through November 2 at the following locations:
CHENOA
Location: City Hall, 201 Green Street
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
COLFAX
Location: Village of Colfax Office, 307 N. Harrison Street
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

*There will be no Early Voting or Election Day voting at the downtown election offices this election cycle. The new location for any McLean County voter, both Early Voting & Election Day, is at the Arena.
