While a family was on vacation at a cabin in the Virginia woods earlier this week, their 4-year-old son wandered into the woods and returned with a baby deer.

His mom said she heard the boy wiping his boots on the door mat, so she looked out the window and was shocked to see a baby deer by his side.

It looked like the deer was ready to come inside, so the mom quickly grabbed her phone and took some photos.

She said, “After I got the picture I asked him to walk his new friend back to the woods so his mommy could find him.”

She posted the photos on Facebook and they are going viral.  Now everyone at the count of three…one…two…three…awwwwwwwwwwwwww!
