A Milwaukee, Wisconsin man decided to have a half-beard and half-mustache when he went to the DMV to renew his license. He wasn’t trying to make a political or religious statement.

He said, “This was an opportunity for me to make a joke. If I’m going to look at my license for the next eight years, I might as well get a laugh out of it.”

He grew his facial hair out in time for the renewal, then shaved half of it off.
