A woman in Boston was taking her son’s dog for a walk when she tried to take a shortcut to the beach and got stuck in some deep mud.
The 54-year-old woman decided to take the shortcut through what appeared to be gravel but it turned out to be mud. She ended up more than knee-deep in the mud and couldn’t move.
Witnesses called firefighters who put a ladder down on long boards to reach the woman and the dog who did not sink but remained by her side.
They were able to get the woman unstuck and luckily she wasn’t injured in the incident.
