We have family that live in Cookeville, TN/Putnam County. Their first-hand accounts of the tragedy that has stuck is earth-shaking. The number of people that lost their lives, the number of people who are still missing, and the number of homes and lives uprooted is unfathomable.

Right now, the call is on for volunteers to help dig through rubble and start the clean-up process. Many local businesses are making sure people are fed and have shelter, but it will take a long time for the new “normal” to begin.
