In a move to protect shoppers and employees at Kroger stores, the grocery store chain announced it is limiting the number of customers in its stores.
Effective immediately, the retailer will begin to limit the number of customers to 50% of the international building code’s calculated capacity to allow for proper physical distancing in every store.
Kroger explains that the current capacity is one person per 60 square feet, but the new initiative will make that 1 person per 120 square feet.
